‘Love After Lockup’: Shavel Moore Loses Everything, GoFundMe Started
Love After Lockup star Shavel Moore is in the middle of a nightmare right now. The reality star has lost everything in a tragedy that occurred yesterday. Now she is asking for help so she can rebuild her life.
Finding Love After Lockup
Shavel was a single mother when she started communicating with inmate Quaylon Adams. He had been locked up for twelve years for armed robbery. The two met through a friend and had been dating for over two years by the time they were featured on the series. For Shavel, she did not have a father for her daughter but really wanted to get married and have a traditional life. At the time, they both were located in Kansas City but Quaylon’s family was desperate for him to come back to Texas. For Shavel, her family was trepidatious about her dating an inmate as many families are in these situations.
Still, she wanted to make it work and see where they could go after he was released. More so, she wanted to get married right away and begin their new family. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned when it appeared that he was getting flirty with another girl. Luckily, he came to his senses and proposed to Shavel as seen on Life After Lockup. Yet, it got twisted up when he caught her retaliating by messaging with other men. They had a combative relationship and it was anyone’s guess if they could stay together. Was he with Shavel during her ultimate time of need?
Losing It All
Yesterday, Shavel’s apartment burned down, according to Starcasm. In the fire, she, along with her daughter, lost absolutely everything. To make matters worse, their pets did not make it out alive. She had two young dogs, Kolby and Stony who perished in the fire. A good friend almost passed, as well. Luckily, she and her daughter were able to make it out along with Quaylon who confirmed he was living with Shavel when it occurred. It appears Quaylon’s family got his wish as they were all living in Dallas. Shavel shared she had recently moved to the area so her stuff had barely been out of the boxes before this happened.
A GoFundMe has been started by Shavel to help with getting the family back on their feet with a goal of 10K. She explains that she and her daughter lost their clothing and furniture. They are just looking for some kindness. So far, they have raised a little over ten percent of their goal. Those who have donated have said words such as: “It could happen to anyone at anytime keep the faith, be at peace and go forward!” This is very true and it is great to see a community coming together to help her out. Thoughts and prayers to Shavel and her daughter during this horrific tragedy.
