When Christine Brown left the Brown family in early November 2021, she left more than just her husband Kody. She also left behind three sister wives and twelve kids she helped raise. Yet there was one more item of importance that was left in Flagstaff upon her departure for Utah- her lot on Coyote Pass. It took so much conversation and negotiation for the wives and Kody to figure out where everyone would be semi-comfortable. Did Christine just forfeit it?

Christine Brown Begrudgingly Moves To Flagstaff

It seems that the Browns have a history of moving. They’ve lived in Wyoming and Montana with them settling in their single-family home in Utah. The home worked quite well for the original three sister wives and their thirteen children. Yet when Kody got engaged to Robyn, they knew she lived too far for it to truly work. She was living five hours away in St. George so it was quite a hike for him to maintain during the courting period. Finally, they moved her to a house right near the family home until they all had to escape to Las Vegas to avoid Kody getting arrested. It took some time to get adjusted as all the wives had their own homes with their children but it all worked quite well.

Then, Kody got the bug to move once again. Flagstaff seemed to be a great option with one of the reasons being Robyn’s eldest son, Dayton. He had been accepted to a college out in Arizona and she wanted to be close to him. The wives went with Kody to look at two plots of land and they ultimately settled on Coyote Pass. Though he wanted to build one home on it, Christine shot this idea down. Upon relocating, each wife got their own home miles apart while waiting for a solid plan. It took forever to come. Eventually, Christine shared she desperately wanted to move back to Utah once polygamy was decriminalized but that was shot down.

One Empty Lot

Christine Brown struggled a lot in Flagstaff. She did not really want to be there and her older kids, Mykleti and Aspyn lived in Utah. Her marriage to Kody was suffering and she felt unwanted. The feeling continued when the pandemic hit in 2020 and Kody spent the majority of his time at Robyn’s home. He believed it was safer and that Christine, Janelle, and their kids were not following his strict pandemic protocols. For Christine, she saw the writing on the wall and it was all eventually too much for her. She even alleged she was going through the motions while the wives and Kody proceeded to pick out their Coyote Pass lots.

It was not where she wanted to be but she felt she needed to be a team player for the time being. She learned it was not enough and left the family. So, what would happen to Christine’s lot? According to her son Paedon who has been very verbal on TikTok, he has the answer. She sold her share to Kody so she can officially be done with the family. No word on the price tag but Kody and Robyn did take a loan out for their own home recently.

Are you surprised to learn the lot has been sold and do you think they will ever build on it? Let us know.

  1. Christine, turns out is the only one that has any sense, I thought Meri was going to get out of that crap, Robin has and still gets all the attention. But I thought the other 3 had some sense, but I guess Christine is the only one that cares about herself. I an glad that she got a clean break. Good for you.
