Amy Halterman’s Fans Question ‘She’ Reference On Latest Baby Update
1000-Lb. Sisters fans know that Amy Halterman is deep into her second pregnancy. Her second child will be here this July and fans can’t wait to celebrate with the TLC star.
Throughout her pregnancy journey, Amy has been very candid and frequently shares updates with fans on Instagram. But one of her most recent updates has fans asking a few questions.

Some fans feel confused after Amy Halterman’s latest pregnancy update
Amy Halterman and her husband Michael established long ago they were having another son. But one of Amy’s recent pregnancy updates seemed to confuse fans a little bit.
She revealed that she is about 27 weeks pregnant and her unborn baby now has working eyelids. Amy took a screenshot of her pregnancy app and posted it on Instagram. And this is what led to the confusion.
“Your baby’s eyelids, which have been fused shut, can now open and close, and she may blink in response to light,” the pregnancy app reads.
“Amy, why does it say “she” instead of he? I thought it was a baby boy 🤔💔 wrote one fan.So what happened? Did Amy find out that she was actually having a baby girl instead?
As far as we know, Amy Halterman is still expecting a son. More than likely, the pregnancy app just has “she” as the default pronoun in the program. It really doesn’t seem like there’s anything unexpected going on here.
As we said above, Amy is generally pretty transparent with her pregnancy. If she found out she was having a girl instead, she probably would have said something to fans.
For now, we can all sit tight and wait as Amy finishes out her pregnancy. The baby boy will be here in July and we can all celebrate then!

Amy Halterman is finishing up the last few months of her pregnancy and fans couldn’t be happier to meet the new bundle of joy. But if Amy and Michael decided on a name, they’re keeping it to themselves.
The last time we heard anything, the couple hadn’t quite decided on a name. They confirmed there was a list and they wanted to keep it horror-themed to match their older son, Gage.
Meanwhile, Amy is really enjoying being a mother to Gage, who will be two years old this fall. He’s growing up well and appears to be a happy little boy.
