Jim Bob Duggar More Like Kody Brown Than Fans Realize?
Jim Bob Duggar and Kody Brown are often compared because they are both TLC personalities with nearly the same about of children. Some Sister Wives fans have speculated Kody Brown actually wanted more children just to surpass Jim Bob. On Cameo, Kody was once asked how he thought his family would fair in some sort of challenge (such as flag football) against the Duggar family. Kody admitted he believed his family would “destroy” the Duggars.
Many fans of the Duggar family turn up their nose at the idea of comparing Jim Bob Duggar and Kody Brown. The biggest reason being that Kody has multiple wives. This certainly made bringing a bunch of children into the world a lot easier than someone who only had children with just one woman.

One Duggar Snark posted a thread on Reddit questioning if Michelle and Jim Bob regretted not immediately having children after getting married. As fans will recall, the Duggar parents were together and married for a few years before they started having children. Most chimed in noting they didn’t think this was a decision the couple regretted as they got to be married and enjoy each other for a few years before having children.
One Duggar Snark penned in response to the thread: “I may be in the minority, but sometimes, I don’t really know if JB believes a lot of what he says. Sometimes I feel like he just latched into religion as a way of manipulating people. It could have been anything else, but he chose religion and here we are today.”
Another individual chimed in to note that was very “Grody Brown” of Jim Bob. The individual later clarified they were referring to Kody Brown of Sister Wives. As those who follow Sister Wives know, Kody Brown is constantly being blasted as being a hypocrite.
