Bachelor star Clayton Echard takes final rose winner Susie Evans on an epic road trip after a cheating scandal nearly tore them apart.

Clayton Echard can’t catch a break from the drama. His season of The Bachelor was rife with drama until the very last moment. He sent frontrunner Susie Evans home before the finale after a tense argument. She was upset that he was intimate with his other final two contestants.
While Echard asked Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia to stay following Susie’s exit, he changed his mind. Susie Evans returned to the show but ultimately turned down Clayton’s attempts to reconcile.
However, viewers were shocked to learn during the After the Final Rose special that the couple had since reunited. In fact, they were still going strong when a cheating allegation rocked Bachelor Nation earlier this week.
A TikTok user accused Clayton Echard of hooking up with her in New York City. However, he denied the allegation, offering up proof that he was in Arizona at the time of the alleged hookup.
The accuser has since recanted, apologized, and revealed it was another man pretending to be the Bachelor star. Susie Evans remained at her boyfriend’s side throughout the allegations.
Clayton Echard & Susie Evans take epic road trip
During the After the Final Rose episode, Clayton Echard revealed plans to move to Virginia where Susie lives. A few short months later, he’s making good on the promise.
The two are taking an epic road trip across the United States. So far, they’ve visited the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. And more importantly, Clayton Echard showed her where he came from.
He took her back to his hometown of Eureka, Missouri. He shared a clip on his Instagram Stories of a large body of water, calling it “Home.”
Bachelor Nation star jokes he’s in ‘receipt-overload mode’
Clayton Echard and Susie Evans are both sharing updates along their travel stops on their respective social media. Bachelor Nation fan account @bachelorwindmill noticed that Echard was adding location tags to all his recent posts.
“I’m in receipt-overload mode now,” the Bachelor alum wrote in response.
