For years, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have been sending their kids to the ALERT Academy training center. However, fans have been curious to know why they do this. The family hasn’t specifically stated why their kids go to the academy.
Most recently, Jackson Duggar attended the academy. He was pictured on the ALERT Academy’s social media pages.
In case you didn’t know, according to the academy’s website, “The International ALERT Academy is a unique Christian training and service organization whose mission is to equip individuals with the tools to prepare them for the specific callings God has placed on their lives.”
However, there has been speculation that the Duggars use ALERT as a punishment when their sons do something wrong. Most of the Duggar boys have attended the academy over the years.

Real Reason Jim Bob Duggar Sent Sons To ALERT Academy Revealed?
In a new Instagram post this week, YouTuber Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball offers some insight into Jim Bob Duggar sending his kids to the academy. In her post, she wrote, “During a speech at an IBLP conference, Jim Bob told the crowd that he had his sons fast to manage their lustful thoughts among other issues.”
She explains that the Duggar men have gone there to deal with their “struggles.”
Katie adds, “The Duggars also sent Josh away to the IBLP’s training center after he molested 5 victims.”
Of course, we don’t know the exact reasons that Jim Bob Duggar’s sons attended the ALERT Academy. If they really did go there because of their “struggles,” we still don’t know what they were each truly dealing with. Lustful thoughts is just one of the reasons that Jim Bob mentioned.
It’s worth noting that many of Jim Bob and Michelle’s sons have attended the ALERT Academy. Maybe they all dealt with lustful thoughts, or maybe there is another issue that prompted this decision.
