Former TLC’s Counting On star Jinger Vuolo is learning all about the Titanic sinking this week, thanks to her social media followers. It looks like she took in some new information she didn’t previously know. Stick around to see why she called it “crazy.”

On Thursday, April 14, Jinger filmed herself as she played the piano at her home. She shared the videos on her Instagram stories. It looks like she was able to take some time for herself while caring for her two young daughters, Felicity and Evangeline. Many of the Duggar kids are passionate about music, but we haven’t heard Jinger Vuolo play the piano much recently.

After listening to Jinger’s music, a fan took the opportunity to inform her about the Titanic.

In response to Jinger Vuolo’s new video as she played the piano, someone messaged her to give her some details about the song she played. As it turns out, it has a connection to the Titanic.

On her Instagram stories, Jinger posted the conversation she had with one of her followers about the Titanic. The fan wrote, “I love this song. This is one of the songs the violinists played on the titanic as it sunk. Today’s actually the 110th anniversary of the sinking!”

In response, Jinger Vuolo said, “No way!! That’s crazy.”

Over on Reddit, Duggar Snarkers are wondering how much Jinger actually knew about the Titanic before this educational moment on social media. They are curious to know how much she learned about this tragedy when she was homeschooled growing up.

One user jokes, “Jinger was today years old when she learned about the Titanic.”

Someone else adds, “They were sheltered from all kinds of cultural references. Not only did they provide a truly lacking foundational education but they lost out on cultural education.”

Other critics are pointing out that this may not have been an appropriate reaction to something so sad and somber.

Regardless, it looks like Jinger Vuolo learned something that she didn’t know about the Titanic before. She seems to be pretty surprised by this information, based on her response.

So, what do you think of Jinger Vuolo’s reaction to her post? Do you think it was an odd or inappropriate reaction? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. For more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.

  1. I have to wonder if she was commenting on the comment about the song. Thinking that’s crazy for a tune to be played while a ship is sinking. Why do people make mountains out of molehills?

  2. Maybe she thought it was a crazy coincident that she decided to play that particular song on that particular day. I know that it isn’t an important date on my calendar.
