Does Kody Brown get to spend time with his granddaughter Avalon?
As Screenrant points out, Kody and Tony didn’t get along right from the start. A lot of fans believe a lot of it has to do with the age — after all, Mykelti was only 20 when she and Tony married.
In turn, Tony took digs at Kody onscreen, which really didn’t win over his future father-in-law. Even after all this time, fans think Kody Brown probably didn’t approve of the relationship or the marriage.
And that’s why fans noticed that Avalon really doesn’t seem to get much time with her grandfather Kody.
Christine frequently makes appearances in Mykelti’s social media posts and even posts photos of little Avalon on her own page. But Kody doesn’t seem to be anywhere in sight.
Is it possible that Tony doesn’t want his daughter to spend any time with Kody? Or is there another reason that Kody doesn’t seem to make an appearance in their family photos?

Tony’s bitter feelings towards his father-in-law seem to continue
Tony Padron really isn’t one of the most popular Sister Wives figures either. However, he also managed to win a lot of respect from fans for standing up to Kody Brown.
“I like that Tony pushes buttons but I think he just cared about Mykelti and maybe even Mykelti wanted him as part of the process,” one Reddit user pointed out while the family planned for the upcoming wedding between Tony and Mykelti. “I sort of thought Mykelti always got treated differently and maybe she or he wanted to be there to help buffer the strong opinions of others that could have influenced Mykelti’s decision on the dress.”
A lot of Sister Wives viewers collectively agreed that they really appreciated how much Tony trolls Kody. But hopefully, Avalon isn’t going to have to pay the price for the bitter family feelings here.
