‘Below Deck’: Aesha Reveals Captain Jason’s Reason To Help The Crew
Below Deck Down Under star Aesha Scott revealed Captain Jason’s reason to help out the crew. Fans noticed he’s on camera a lot more than others. Even though some aren’t complaining, they wonder if he’s a micromanager like Captain Sandy Yawn. Captain Jason Chambers previously explained that he likes to be hands-on with the job.
He was more involved since he had an all-new crew and yacht. Plus, he was appearing on the Below Deck spinoff for the first time ever. That’s a lot of pressure. Aesha shared her thoughts on Jason’s work ethic. She explained the real reason why he wanted to help out the crew.
Is Captain Jason Chambers looking to be famous?
Aesha made an appearance on Below Deck Med alum Hannah Ferrier’s podcast Dear Reality, You’re Effed. She said she quickly bonded with Captain Jason. She never worked with someone who had supported her so much. Like Hannah, Aesha also worked for Captain Sandy Yawn.
Aesha denied the claims that he wanted to be on camera. She joked that he became the fourth stew on her interior team. Jason genuinely wanted to help out his crew. He was ready to pitch in and help out with any job.
“All he wanted was to be a part of the team, part of the family,” the Below Deck breakout star said. “And the thing that I cannot stress enough is he changed my whole season. Because the thing is when we were on a boat that size, you always have four girls. The fact that we’ve got three girls is like, f***ed up. There’s too much work in the interior.”
Jason under Aesha’s concerns. He sometimes would help out the interior crew during service. In this season of Below Deck Down Under, the crew has to organize a wedding ceremony. Jason helped with the decorations.
His work ethic is rare for fans to witness. Seasoned captains normally don’t take out the trash or iron their uniforms. Rather, they would assign tasks or tell the crew members how to do the job. But, Jason wanted to be there for the team.
Below Deck star made Aesha’s job much easier
Aesha admitted that Jason’s help made her job much easier. She recalled a time when he went above and beyond for the team. Though the yacht was large, there was no storage on board. So, he found a way to organize everything.
“He had completely organized everything. Like labeled it,” the Below Deck fan-favorite said. “Every extra job that I just could not deal with, he was doing it behind the scenes. And I didn’t even ask him. I did not even ask him, and he was just doing it!”
Jason reciprocated his feelings for Aesha. He appreciated Aesha and her work ethic. What are your thoughts on Captain Jason’s work ethic? Do you think he makes for a great captain? Sound off below in the comment section.
