‘Welcome To Plathville:’ Is Lydia Having An Existential Crisis?
On TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, the whole family was very open about their religious beliefs. Kim and Barry Plath‘s values heavily influenced the way they raised their children. One of the Plath children who seemed to have especially strong beliefs is Lydia. She’s the fifth Plath child and is now 18 years old.
On the show, she was seen using the prayer closet in her family’s home. When the family drama became intense, she went on a long walk and prayed out loud for comfort.
During Welcome to Plathville Season 3, Lydia began to branch out and find out who she truly is. Because she’s sided with her parents for years, she earned their trust and was allowed to do this.
But now, a new social media post from the Plath daughter seems to suggest something bigger might be going on, especially with her faith.
Welcome to Plathville fans wonder if Lydia Plath is having an existential crisis.
On Instagram, Lydia shared a photo of the sky and wrote, “Hello everyone. I’ve had many people asking me questions, mostly about my faith and my walk with the Lord. And I just wanted to open it up to everyone. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I hope to make another Youtube video soon.”
Along with sharing the picture, Lydia also wrote, “I hope to share with y’all what has brought me to where i am now and some of that journey 🤍💜❤️”
So, it sounds like Lydia will have more to share soon. In the meantime, fans are leaving their questions for her in the comments section of her post.
Sparking the speculation that Lydia might be having an existential crisis, one Welcome to Plathville fan asked, “What’s your full testimony? When did your faith become your own and not just something that you were taught?”
Lydia replied that she loved this question, so she may open up about it soon. Others are asking about how her faith has changed and what she has learned about herself over the years.
