Josh Duggar Cracked Incest Jokes While Chaperoning His Siblings
Since Josh Duggar was found guilty on two child porn charges, disturbing quotes and clips have resurfaced online. Duggar fans and critics have been watching old videos and have rediscovered a few concerning quotes from him over the years. Knowing what we know now, however, fans think these things are especially disgusting.
Most recently, a fan recalled an incest joke that Josh made while chaperoning his siblings. So, what did he say, and what do fans think of this comment now? Read on to get all of the details.
In case you missed it, in the spring of 2021, Josh was arrested by the federal government after they raided his car lot. His trial began in late November, and in early December, he was found guilty. The eldest Duggar son is now facing decades behind bars and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. He’s still awaiting sentencing, which is slated for April 5.
In the meantime, fans are digging through old clips and looking back on Josh Duggar’s life. A newly surfaced quote is especially disturbing, fans think.
Josh Duggar makes incest jokes with his siblings.
In a new confession post on Duggar Bates Confessions on Instagram, one fan shared an old memory they have of 19 Kids & Counting. The confession reads:
“I vaguely remember an episode where Josh is being a chaperone on one of his siblings dates and he makes an incest joke by saying: ‘We are from Arkansas.’ Knowing what we do now, that has to be one of the worst aged lines I’ve ever heard on a reality show.”
In the Duggar family, dates are chaperoned by an older sibling or a parent.
Because of Josh Duggar’s multiple scandals, both of his family’s shows, 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On, have been canceled. Many of their clips have been scrubbed from the internet. So, this one likely isn’t anywhere to be found.
One fan on Instagram corrected the original poster, sharing that they remember Jana and John-David actually chaperoning Josh’s date with Anna. The user writes, “Actually that was before he and Anna were married and he was being chaperoned by Jana and John David. That’s where he called it a double date and sounded so slimy.”
Either way, fans are disgusted by this resurfaced comment from Josh Duggar.

Most of those sick jokes from Dad to son’s mouth. I noticed that in families considered ill bred. Men tend to use same lame lines over and over to get the chuckle. Whether being slimy or not. A lot of these shows tend to use that slimy reference to women like in the Alaskan frontier. Otto is a sick tool. Must be related to JBob and Joshboy.
