‘Sister Wives’ Fans Sick Of Hearing ‘What Does The Nanny Do?’
There’s no shortage of gossip in the Sister Wives fandom. If you keep up with the show, you’ve probably heard the phrase, “what does the nanny do?” quite frequently.
However, many Sister Wives fans seem ready to put that saying to bed. Reddit users recently tackled it and decided that it’s time to move on. Keep reading to find out what they said.
Sister Wives fans want to move on from the nanny debacle
The Sister Wives section of Reddit is definitely a lively place. Fans frequently have a lot to say about the Brown family and what they do. Or in this case, what they don’t do. But a recent Reddit thread really wants fans to stop asking about the nanny.
“Petition to stop ‘what does Kody do,’ ‘what does Robyn do’ and ‘what does the nanny do’ posts,” the original Reddit user titles the post. “The answer is nothing. That’s what they do. Nothing.”
Other Reddit users readily agreed in the comments.
“Yeah we’ve run that sh– in the ground. The horse is dead let’s stop beating him!” said one user.
“They do nothing. I can’t believe they have a show about their lives lol,” agreed another user. “What we need to do is stop watching anything with those two in it so they actually WILL have to do something!”
A few other users pointed out that a lot of these Reddit threads come from new Sister Wives Reddit users. Seasoned fans already know this discussion isn’t new.

It isn’t just the Sister Wives fandom that’s getting sick of the “what does the nanny do?” question. According to Paedon Brown, Kody thinks it’s really obnoxious too.
Paedon recently wore a shirt with the phrase in a TikTok video and infuriated his father. He dished about the situation on an episode of Surviving Sister Wives. Apparently, Kody really scolded Paedon over the whole incident.
Sister Wives fans can’t be sure how long this “nanny” trend will last, but many hope that it ends sooner rather than later. But we’ll just have to keep up with the family to see what happens next.
