Two dating reality television shows have been airing simultaneously and fans have some strong feelings about both. Plus, viewers have been comparing the two shows and their thoughts are interesting. The Bachelor is currently in Season 26 while Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer is in Season 1. It’s a reboot, however, it’s much different than the first Joe Millionaire. They air on different stations, on different nights and different times but fans are loving how “real” Joe Millionaire is so far.
Both shows are about finding love, however, it is done much differently and the leads aren’t really expected to propose at the end as they do on The Bachelor.

Comparisons
First of all, Joe Millionaire lets viewers in on conversations with producers. This is something The Bachelor rarely does and many believe doing this builds a stronger connection between the audience and the contestants.
Even if it’s swearing, fans love that the contestants are real on Joe Millionaire. They appreciate them not trying to be fake and this makes them more likable.
Another point brought up is that fans get to see every woman on Joe Millionaire. They get to know each one which is helpful in trying to pick who they think is better suited for one of the men. Fans think The Bachelor lets many contestants fade into the background and viewers forget who they are.
Some more big differences
There are some more huge differences fans have noticed and commented on between these two shows. A huge difference that seems to keep popping up is how real and genuine the women seem on Joe Millionaire. Fans noted they appear to have no problem being themselves, unlike The Bachelor.
Many fans are also loving that there are two men looking for love. Even better, fans love that the women do not know who is rich and who is not.
Viewers have also commented that they feel Joe Millionaire is less scripted than The Bachelor.
Fans also love the bromance that has developed between Kurt Sowers and Steven McBee. There is more humor and light-heartedness than on The Bachelor. If something is wrong or going on behind the men’s backs then they are told about it. Things are not kept a secret by production.
Plus, everyone loves the butler, Martin. Many feel he’s a more memorable host than hosts on The Bachelor.
Overall, fans are loving the new series and hope it’s back for another season.
