Michael & Amy Halterman Aren’t Sure About Baby #2’s Name?
In case you hadn’t heard, 1000-Lb. Sisters stars Michael and Amy Halterman will be welcoming another son this summer. The couple is over the moon to add another baby to the family — but what are they going to call him?
In the past, it appeared that Amy Halterman had a name picked out already. Now, it doesn’t seem so certain. Keep reading to find out why fans are a little confused.
Do Michael and Amy Halterman have any names picked out for the new baby?
Since 1000-Lb. Sisters debuted, Amy Halterman made it abundantly clear she wants to have children. She’s currently the mother of one little boy, Gage, and has another son due this summer.
Her next delivery is going to be a C-section and Amy plans to get her tubes tied during the procedure. There will not be a third child for Michael and Amy.
It’s only February, so Amy definitely has some time left in her pregnancy. But what do she and Michael plan to call the next baby?
In past social media videos and posts, Amy seemed to indicate that she and Michael already had a name picked out. But most recently, fans noticed she didn’t seem as certain.
In a recent Instagram thread, one fan asked if she had a name picked out for the baby yet. Amy replied that they had a few names picked out, but she didn’t give any hints.
Of course, other fans eagerly gave their suggestions. The user that originally asked the question thought the Haltermans should keep up with the horror movie theme and call the next son Damian. Someone else opted for a rhyming theme and suggested Sage.

The TLC star isn’t necessarily making the best choices while pregnant
Based on everything we know, it appears that Amy’s second pregnancy is going smoothly. However, fans weren’t happy to learn that she’s been smoking while pregnant.
The TLC star admitted to The Sun she does smoke while pregnant, but wants to cut back.
“I’m not drinking alcohol. I used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, like 20, now I’m down to about five a day. I’m trying to cut down,” Amy said.
Fans definitely took issue with that confession, but Amy went on to say that she tries to stay away from negative online chatter. Instead, she focuses on the positive comments that people share with her.
