1000-Lb Sisters fans felt really excited for Amy Halterman when she announced she was pregnant again. Throughout the show’s three seasons, Amy expressed a lot of desire to be a mother. She already welcomed one son with her husband Michael. But now, the family is growing. Another son will arrive this summer.

But she recently told The Sun she’s struggling with cigarettes during her pregnancy.

Of course, fans immediately expressed their concern online. But Amy is trying to avoid the negativity and just focus on the positives.

“You really can’t look at that stuff. Yes read the positive stuff, but when it comes to the bad stuff, that’s all you dwell on,” she told The Sun. “And I’m like, no, I have enough going on. I’m going to do what’s right for him and me, and they can raise their kids how they want. Gage is a very happy baby.”

It seems like the TLC star knows that smoking isn’t good for her unborn baby. Amy wants to really cut back, but she’s not quite there yet. Fans hope she will be able to kick her smoking habit once and for all for the baby’s health.

How is baby Gage doing these days?

Fans have noticed that Gage Halterman definitely does seem to be a happy and healthy baby. In the interview with The Sun, Amy also discussed some of Gage’s milestones and his favorite things.

“Gage’s favorite foods are green beans, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and tuna fish, that boy will eat tuna salad every day if I let him,” she said. “He eats healthy so I eat healthily. But I do have sugar here just in case my sugar gets low, because with this baby my sugar drops into the 40s, with Gage it was always high.

She added that her doctor said it was okay if she lost some weight as long as it doesn’t hurt her unborn baby’s health.

  1. Amy I enjoy watching you and learning about you and the family .
I do think smoking next to a child where he can breath in the smoke should always try to be prevented.
I hope your second pregnancy is healthy and wonderful.
