Viewers have been loving getting to know Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers on Joe Millionaire: For Richer Or Poorer. The two men are both dating the remaining ladies and trying to determine who is there for the right reasons. Many have been comparing the revived reality show to The Bachelor. However, nobody knows for sure if Kurt or Steven are expected to propose on the finale as they usually do on The Bachelor. Keep reading to find out more about what may or may not go down.

Distractify shared what Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers had to say about a possible proposal on the finale of Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer. Since this is the first season of the revived reality show, fans are not quite sure what to expect. Are Kurt and Steven required to propose or do they even want to? Here’s what they had to say.
So far, butler Martin Andrew has not teased even a little bit about a possible proposal. It seems right now there is more interest in just finding deep connections for the men. The ladies are also trying to form a deep connection with the guys while also trying to determine who’s rich and who’s not.
The guys didn’t give much away as to what fans can expect to see on the finale. Steven said, “Yeah, you know, for both of us, we develop pretty deep feelings for these women.” He continued, “And I can tell you, going into it, there was absolutely zero chance of us ever thinking about a proposal, but you know, things change. So it’ll be interesting to watch how it plays out.”
Kurt simply says, “Tune in to find out.”
So, unlike The Bachelor, it seems Joe Millionaire isn’t necessarily expected to propose at the end. If they fall in love and want to then that appears to be their choice.

Will they leave with anyone?
Kurt seems to be forming strong connections with more than one lady. Of course, he’s been smitten with Carolyn from day one. However, she has a little baggage that Kurt isn’t sure he wants to take on. He’s also forming a strong connection with Amanda whom viewers just found out has a lot of money herself. Who will he choose?
Steven appears to have the deepest connection with Annie. However, there are a few others on his radar as well.
