Anderson Cooper Snuggles With Newborn Son In Sweet Photo
Welcome baby! CNN anchor Anderson Cooper recently announced he has a newborn son. His name is Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper and Anderson couldn’t be prouder. Sebastian joins his older brother, Wyatt Morgan, at home. Wyatt will be 2-years-old this year.
CNN host Anderson Cooper proudly welcomes a second son into his family
Anderson Cooper is co-parenting the boys with his “best friend and former partner” Benjamin Maisani.
“Wyatt calls me ‘Daddy’ and Benjamin ‘Papa,'” Anderson said on a recent episode of his show, Anderson Cooper 360. “We’re a family. Benjamin is also in the process of adopting Wyatt, whose last name will be changed to Maisani-Cooper as well.”
The CNN anchor took some time out of his show to introduce baby Sebastian to the world. if you haven’t had a chance to do that yet, you can do that here:
In the episode, Anderson Cooper jokes that Sebastian doesn’t do much yet but sleep, eat, and poop. However, he thinks baby Sebastian is “a wise and thoughtful little chap.”
“When I announced Wyatt’s birth, I said I liked to imagine my mom and dad and brother, all who are no longer alive, their arms around each other, smiling and joyful at his birth,” he continued. “These past 22 months, I felt them watching over us very strongly and I already feel their love for Sebastian.”
“The family I was born into may be gone, but I feel them alive in the family we’ve created, new love, and new life,” Anderson finished before announcing he would be taking some time off to care for his sons at home.
Anderson Cooper probably couldn’t wait to get out of the studio at the end of his show. We hope he and his sons are doing well.

Although Anderson Cooper is a top-notch journalist, he clearly loves his sons. Just after he brought baby Sebastian home, he posted an adorable photo of the two snuggling on Instagram.
“Cuddling with Sebastian the day after he was born,” he captioned the photo.
The comment section is full of the anchor’s friends and fans wishing the family well.
“What a beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️❤️” said Kelly Ripa.
“Saw your announcement on CNN….had tears of joy for you and your beautiful Family!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!” added one fan.
It seems like baby Sebastian Luke is already very loved by his fathers and big brother. We can’t wait to see more photos that come out.
