Are former Counting On stars Jill and Derick Dillard continuing to use their platform to condemn Josh Duggar? After his conviction in December, they spoke out about him in a scathing statement. Now, another recent statement about a different situation might be directed at him, too. Read on to find out what Jill and Derick have to say.

Josh’s child pornography trial ran from late November to early December. The eldest Duggar child was found guilty on two counts and is awaiting sentencing. Jill and Derick are two of his family members that showed up at the trial. After the guilty verdict came in, they issued a harsh statement about his crimes.

Now, the Duggar sisters’ unrelated case has been dismissed by the judge. When the news broke, Jill and Derick Dillard issued another statement. While it was about the sisters’ privacy lawsuit, which is over a police report being released several years ago, the couple might have thrown more shade at Josh Duggar in the process.

Are Jill and Derick Dillard calling out Josh Duggar once again?

In a new blog post on Thursday, February 10, the Dillards shared their thoughts on the lawsuit being dropped by the judge. The judge claimed that the Duggar sisters had not provided sufficient proof of how the released police report had affected them.

In their statement, Jill and Derick wrote, “The Judge has made it crystal clear that the reports were illegally released. This should have never happened, and we hope this never happens again to anyone. It is what compelled Derick to change careers and pursue law school in the first place, and we will continue to fight for victims’ rights.”

Then, they continued, “In the pursuit of justice, the impact on victims, especially child sex victims, should not be an afterthought, and they should not be relegated to collateral damage. Victims need to be supported and protected, not hung out to dry simply because the end justifies the means. They have been blamed, shamed, and bullied into silence for too long, so why are we surprised that perpetrators continue to be emboldened and victims are punished for their voice. This needs to change, and only then can victims become survivors.”

It’s possible that some of the lines used in their blog post could be directed at Josh Duggar, though they don’t say his name in the post. You can check out Jill and Derick Dillard’s full statement here.
