Vicki Gunvalson Shares Deep Bond, Says Tamra Judge Saved Her Life
Vicki Gunvalson opened up about her friendship with Tamra Judge. She shared that her fellow RHOC alum “saved my life.” The two are still close to this day. Vicki and Tamra are the latest cast members to appear on the second season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Their friendship grew even stronger after a near-fatal incident.
Vicki sat down for an exclusive interview with Page Six in which she shared the details. The Bravo star couldn’t even recall how it happened. Vicki admitted that the situation had nothing to do with her ex, but only that it was an “actual situation” that happened to her.
How Tamra Judge saved her life
Neither Peacock nor Bravo would share the details on what happened. Only an insider told Page Six that Vicki Gunvalson was “choking on something” and Tamra judge “did the Heimlich” maneuver. Vicki recalled that she was just moving out of her former fiance Steve Lodge’s home. She filmed the new season in Massachusetts. Thankfully, the two friends had a good laugh about it.
“We laugh about it now, but I was, like, ‘You saved my life,’ and she goes, ‘You dumb cluck,'” Vicki Gunvalson told Page Six.
She enjoyed filming the spinoff series with Tamra since they don’t get to see each other as much as they used to. Both Tamra and Vicki announced their respective exits from the Bravo series in January 2020. The Coto Insurance founder says that she’s been busy traveling a lot these days. She’s been keeping busy and she’s happy about it. It sounds like Vicki doesn’t need to fill her love tank anytime soon.
However, the RHOC BFFs still talk to each other as much as possible. Tamra was there when Vicki ended her engagement with Steve. The two caught up with one another. The ladies filmed Season 2 of RHUGT at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires.
Vicki Gunvalson argued with Dorinda Medley
Of course, things got heated on the show. Vicki Gunvalson told Page Six that she got into an argument with Dorinda about COVID-19 vaccines. She claimed that she had a different stance in September 2021, when the fight occurred. At the time, an insider told Page Six that “Vicki told Dorinda that everyone who got the vaccine is going to die.”
However, Vicki claims she’s not “anti-vax.” Regardless, she feels that getting the vaccine should be a “personal decision” rather than a government mandate.
“I told [Dorinda] it’s political and she didn’t agree and if it’s not political then why is the government mandating it?” Vicki Gunvalson explained. “So, you can believe what you wanna believe, but the facts are the facts. So, she has her opinions and I respect it, I just didn’t think she respected my opinion.”
The former reality star is not vaccinated due to “underlying issues.” Vicki revealed that she has “blood clots,” which grants her a “health exemption.” The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2 will premiere on Peacock’s streaming service sometime in 2022.
