Andy Cohen is sticking by his OG housewife, Vicki Gunvalson during a very hard time in her life. It was just announced that her ex-fiance, Steve Lodge is engaged to another woman. Though the former RHOC star and Lodge have been split up for several months now, the news hit Gunvalson like a ton of bricks. Luckily, she has a great support system, including her former boss.

Vicki Gunvalson’s Struggle To Find Love

Fans watched Vicki’s relationship woes since RHOC debuted in 2006. Though she was married to Donn Gunvalson at the time, she had been married previously. She wed her first husband, Mike Wolfsmith when she was just twenty-one. They had two children, Michael and Briana but divorced eight years later. She noted it was a very unhealthy union. Her second husband was Donn who became a father figure for her two kids. As seen in the series, the first in the housewives franchise, Vicki was the domineering one in the relationship.

She was extremely business-minded, founding COTO Insurance. This availed her and her family an extremely lavish lifestyle. Unfortunately, her marriage seemed to pay the price as she was always on the go saying she was almost always at the office. Furthermore, when she was not getting what she needed from Donn, she would throw herself more into her work. This was where she felt most fulfilled. Vicki often said Donn did not fill up her love tank even after they renewed their vows.

The two filed for divorce and Vicki started seeing a colleague, Brooks Ayers. She seemingly supported him and unfortunately, he got her caught up in a cancer scam. This ruined her credibility and broke her heart. Steve Lodge came in and was like a white knight. Though very nice, he seemed a tad boring, unlike bad boy Brooks. All she wanted was her happily ever after and eventually, he proposed. Sadly, her happily ever after never came true.

Vicki’s Worst Nightmare

When Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge broke up, there was a lot of back and forth. He claimed they had been over since December 2020. She disputed that as he was running for political office in California and she had stuck by his side. Now, with news he has proposed to his much younger fiancee, the lines are all blurred. Whatever the true story, no one may ever know. However, she has the support of housewives like good friends Tamra Judge and Brandi Glanville. They recently filmed RHUGT2 airing on Peacock this year.

More so, Andy Cohen is by her side, according to People. On Monday, Cohen tweeted words of encouragement for Gunvalson: “If @vgunvalson doesn’t find a GREAT guy this year, it won’t be a good year. She deserves it. #FullLoveTankForVG.” Fans have petitioned for her to get her own dating show. At this point, she just needs to embrace the love of friends and family yet she might have a new man so stay tuned.
