Shauna Rae Poses For Cute Photos With Her Sister
If you had a chance to check out TLC’s newest series I Am Shauna Rae, you probably noticed a few things. For starters, Shauna loves her family. But she’s especially close with her 18-year-old sister Rylee.
Episode after episode, we see Shauna and Rylee get along more like best friends instead of sisters. Shauna and her older sister Tara are actually closer in age. However, Tara lives with her fiance in Florida. Since it’s just Shauna and Rylee at home now, the women seem to be much closer.
But the sisterly relationship isn’t just for the show. Shauna and Rylee just posed for some really cute pictures and posted them on social media. Keep reading to learn more.
Shauna Rae is as close with Rylee in real life as she is in the show
If you don’t already follow Shauna Rae on Instagram, her account is thereal_shaunarae99. She doesn’t have a lot of posts yet, but that will probably change as her show grows and gains popularity.
However, she did post a few photos with Rylee today. And they’re absolutely adorable.
“When you try to take photos with someone who’s easily distracted. 😂❤️” Shauna captioned the photos of herself and Rylee. In the first photo, the women are using the dog ears filter.
In the second, they’re using the bear ears filter. Rylee looks off in the distance and Shauna wrote “ooh flower” on the second photo. Apparently, it really is easy to distract the younger sister.
It’s very apparent that the sisters are having a great time. No matter what they’re doing, Shauna and Rylee always seem to bring out the best in one another. Fans love the dynamic between the two.
The TLC star’s relationship with her older sister appears to be more complex
Although Shauna Rae loves her family, it’s clear that her relationship with her older sister Tara is a bit more strained. On the show, Shauna’s parents believe that Shauna gets frustrated that Tara is off living her life as a normal adult. Due to Shauna’s size, she has to fight for more opportunities to be independent. Their parents believe those frustrations fuel the animosity between the sisters.
In a preview for the new episode, we see Tara and Shauna butt heads over a bar outing.
“I’m like, how do you want me to take a drink of an 86 oz bucket with long straws out of it when I can’t even see over the bar?” the TLC star says. “The fact that she’s not understanding that people are staring at me, she’s not understanding that I’m already in an uncomfortable situation and her trying to push me to do more, it just sets me off.”
Hopefully, the sisters will patch things up and their relationship will grow stronger. In the meantime, we will just have to wait and see.

I think she has a great attitude, she makes me laugh. Miss Rae also reminds me of some challenges I went thru when I was young. I’ve learned to not give a Shit about what most people think. She can relax now the people taking photos now are doing it cause she is a t.v. star not because she is on the shorter side. My wife is 4 11 I’m around 6 2 oldest dot 5foot and. The baby is just tooo cute as she is 4yrs. As I’m a kid from the 60s. Too old to put up with people’s crap but still young enough to knock em on their butt. Lol
