Colton Underwood To Compete In New Competition, ‘Beyond The Edge’
Where can you mix up stars like Colton Underwood, Jodie Sweetin, and football player Ray Lewis? On a reality competition show, of course. Beyond the Edge is an intense competition where these stars and more earn money for their charities.
Hosted by Mauro Ranallo, the show will feature nine celebrities living in the Panama jungle. The show will stream on Paramount+. It will also air on CBS. Other celebrities joining them include country singers Lauren Alaina and Craig Morgan, and supermodel Paulina Porizkova.
Colton Underwood And Others Compete In Harsh Conditions
According to ET, Colton Underwood and his fellow competitors are featured in a three-minute cold open. The show was announced during the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother
The preview promised contestants would “face off in epic adventures and endure the most brutal conditions, as they push themselves to go beyond their comfort zone.”
The show has celebrities facing “torrential downpours, scorching heat, and deadly wildlife.” No one will be eliminated, everyone has their chance. Each day they’ll earn more money for their charities.
They will compete in some hard challenges to keep earning. At the end of two weeks, the two earning the most will face off to see who wins. They will be able to ring a bell if they decide they want to go home when things get too hard to handle. The show and competition will test the celebrities as they leave their comfortable lives in the name of charity.
The Cast Is Sharing Their Excitement
The cast has happily shared the show on their social media channels. Colton Underwood said “excited to be part of the new reality series #BeyondTheEdge! It was an experience unlike any other. Can’t wait for you to watch, starting March 16th!” One fan said, “I’m looking forward to it. I hope you were successful but don’t reveal anything.”
Jodie posted, “It was an experience unlike any other. Seriously. Some truly amazing and life-changing moments happened out there for ALL of us.” The former Pants Off Dance Off host really took a lot from her time in the jungle.
Colton seemed to take a lot from the experience as well. He joined TikTok and shared a post with his goals for this year. Some of them were checking in on his friends, being more consistent with therapy, setting boundaries, and being proactive instead of reactive among other things.
There’s no doubt he’s been on a journey from coming out, facing the media, and releasing a documentary about his time on The Bachelor and the aftermath of coming out to the world.
