When did Lisa Ebberson’s boyfriend Randy Rempel die?
In addition to meeting Lisa Ebberson during tonight’s episode of My 600-Lb. Life, fans also met Randy Rempel. My 600-Lb. Life fans fell in love with her boyfriend Randy. He presented himself as a sweet and caring man that really seemed to love Lisa. Dr. Now labeled her boyfriend Randy as an enabler noting that if she couldn’t get out of the bed to feed herself he had the power to make better choices for her.
What fans assumed to be a combination of wanting to give her everything she wanted out of love and not wanting to deal with the tantrums she demonstrated her ability to throw throughout the episode, Randy didn’t fight back much when she made poor food choices. For example, fans that have seen the episode were furious by her grocery store choices immediately after meeting with Dr. Now. Randy, however, just willingly purchased what she wanted and didn’t fight her on the manner at all. (At least not on camera).
Sadly, both Lisa Ebberson and her boyfriend Randy Rempel contracted COVID-19. She told the cameras he fell off the bed and ended up getting rushed to the hospital. He sent her one last message telling her he loved her and missed her before they never spoke to each other again. To everyone’s surprise, Lisa Ebberson survived COVID-19.
The details of his death
There aren’t a lot of details regarding the death of Randy Rempel. Viewers know he passed away due to complications related to COVID. Fans of My 600-Lb. Life suspect constantly on the go taking care of Lisa likely did him no favors between his age and his own health issues. Still, fans wonder when exactly Lisa Ebberson’s boyfriend died. Turns out, his death really wasn’t that long ago.
After some digging, we’ve learned Lisa’s boyfriend Randy died on November 18, 2021. He was 62-years-old at the time of his death. Other than knowing he died from COVID-19 complications, there isn’t much information available on his death.
Lisa, however, did take to social media about a month after his death to tag Randy and note how much she loved and missed him. With her profile pretty locked down, viewers have not been able to get much other information on where Lisa is now or how she’s coping with the death of Randy.
