After months of trying, Bachelor in Paradise alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon announced their pregnancy in July of 2021. They publicly spoke of trying to conceive for several months before success.
A month later, they revealed that their impending bundle of joy was a baby boy.
In May of 2021, Iaconetti’s ex, Kevin Wendt, announced that he was expecting a baby with Astrid Loch after IVF treatments. Both Astrid and the baby ended up in the hospital with COVID one-month after the birth. However, both mom and baby have made a full recovery.
BIP Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk welcomed their first child, a boy, on January 18, 2022.

On Monday, January 31, 2022, Jared posted a short video on Instagram letting the world know that the baby had arrived. “Baby Dawson is here and healthy!”
As for Ashley, her husband revealed that she was “recovering and doing well.”
At this point, the couple has yet to share photos or specific details about Dawson’s arrival. Amid news that Tom Brady was retiring, huge football fan Jared joked that they were thinking of naming the baby Brady. However, they ultimately stuck with the name they had already chosen.
The congratulations from Bachelor Nation poured in on Haibon’s Instagram video. “Congratulations!!!,” Thomas Jacobs wrote.
JoJo Fletcher said, “Yay!! Congrats you two!!! Way to go [Ashley.]”
A new baby isn’t the only big news the couple shared recently. They opened up a cafe, Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge, in Rhode Island. The menu has several Bachelor-influenced items, including drinks called “Take a Moment to Say Your Goodbyes” and “The Rose Ceremony.”

Ashley Iaconetti documented every step of her pregnancy journey for her social media followers. The Bachelor Nation alum was open about her struggle with morning sickness and fear of giving birth, People magazine reported.
Many new parents wait until after the baby’s arrival to reveal its name. However, Iaconetti and Haibon spilled the beans weeks before she went into labor.
Dawson Demitri is named after movie star Leonardo DiCaprio’s most famous role. He played Jack Dawson in the 1997 blockbuster Titanic.
