TLC’s Welcome to Plathville fans have been waiting to see whether the show is canceled or renewed. Many viewers have come to love the Plath family. They’re invested in the family’s drama and have enjoyed seeing some of the adult children grow and become their true selves.

At this point, there is no official word from TLC on whether Welcome to Plathville is coming back. Since Season 3’s finale premiered in November of 2021, it’s been a waiting game to see whether the show is renewed for another season.

Based on what viewers have seen from the Plaths so far, it looks like there are plenty more storylines to fill up additional seasons. There’s lots of drama between the members of the Plath family. Fans are still looking for answers on Moriah Plath’s relationship with Max Kallschmidt, too. Ethan and Olivia Plath’s marriage seems to be okay now. But they still have things to work on in their lives.

Plus, with some of Kim and Barry Plath’s kids still at home, fans would be interested in watching them grow up, too. It looks like Kim and Barry might be loosening up with the younger kids. Both Isaac and Lydia Plath are now active on social media.

While fans hope to see the show continue, it’s possible that the family’s story will be cut short.

Is TLC’s Welcome to Plathville coming to an end?

Blogger and YouTuber Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball has been looking into the Plath family recently. She shared a new post on Instagram, discussing some of the darker things going on behind the scenes.

Katie Joy writes, “Rather than highlighting the truth about these families, the network sanitizes the families to appear mainstream. Viewers are not shown the abuse that exists within the homes of the families that they watch.”

She claims that there is corporal punishment and many other harmful actions going on behind the scenes. The blogger adds, “Instead, TLC makes viewers believe the families are living a ‘simpler’ life that is looking to return to the ‘Walton’ era.

It’s unclear what the future holds. But if more disturbing details surface about the Plath family, this could be the end of the show.

In the comments section of Katie Joy’s post, one of her followers suggests a spin-off. Fans agree that a show focusing on Ethan, Olivia, Micah, and Moriah would be great. One Plathville fan writes, “I would love to see the show canceled, and replaced with a show featuring the older kids who have broken free.”

So, do you think this is a sign that TLC’s Welcome to Plathville won’t be returning for another season? Would you continue watching the show to see what’s next for the Plath family? 1. I would love to see more about Ethan & Olivia and Moria & Micah. I am not a fan of the parents- I think Kim needs to let them grow & be adults & stop being so overbearing.

    1. I am curious to see more on the younger children but the parents I can’t stand. The father irks me, there’s something off about him that I just do not like at all. I really would like to know why the mother chose this way of life. Could Kim have been brainwashed by Barry into some way of thinking? She “seems” to have been a different person before him. However, I would love to see more on Ethan & Olivia as a couple navigating through life and starting over. I definitely would love to see Moriah and Micah involved as well. I will say I fear for each one of these kids from the youngest to the eldest as they were sheltered so much and there are many dangers out there that they do not know about due to the sheltering lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong, there are many that aren’t sheltered either that are so unaware as well.

    2. I love the Plath family I would like to see more of Ethan and Olivia and Max and Mariah and Micah after their move to Tampa.

    3. No way! I wouldn’t waste a minute watching Olivia. She’s nothing but a home wrecker. Nothing entertaining about her.

  2. That show is a vicious cycle of bullying ,and twisting manipulated minds ,and if they’re religion can cause a divide between a husband and wife with hate ,which they’ve done , nobody in their right mind would choose it ,to blind your child to the realities of the real world is a sin ,and then to try and continue the manipulation after adulthood is beyond criminal TL channel should be banned because it makes a habit of exploitation ,using women

  3. i love the older kids and am curious what will happen to the teens. I shiver from mother, she has to let them go and let their lives live in the here and now

    1. I’m only interested in the parents & kids at home. They obviously have wonderful parenting skills to have raised such respectful kids like Lydia & Isaac.

Please don’t feature Olivia, the home wrecker ever again. She ruined the last season.

  4. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Plath family show. More than once ive been surprised at how they manage working thru famil6 challenges, whether i agree with their actions or not.

I have become invested in their older children making their own way in the world and would be very interested in seeing the younger children grow and develop in their home environment.

I might not agree on the parents techniques with parenting, but one thing i find amazing is how deeply each of their children care for one another. So something is happening right in that family. While i may not agree with all their practices in raising children, i would have to say that the end means of loving all of their siblings is one nice thing to be thankful for.

  5. I enjoyed the show very much. And I agree with some of the other comments regarding following the lives of the older children. I could do without seeing the parents!

  6. I like the show, hope it’s not canceled could care less about the older ones who left, let’s focus on the sweet little ones

  7. I love the show. I’m kinda out with Olivia just because of her attitude and I thought Ethan was gonna calm her down or something. I read the other day that she was pregnant. But yes I would watch it if they all came back, but I’m not sure if I would be as interested with just Ethan, Olivia, Micah and Moriah.
