‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Fans Horrified By What Was Lurking Under Gage’s Crib
1000-Lb. Sisters fans admit they were horrified when they learned what was lurking under Gage Halterman’s crib. During this week’s episode of the series, fans watched as Amy and Michael Halterman packed up and moved from their old house to their new one. Fans on Reddit admit the moving process was bizarre. They’d never seen someone who packed and moved everything all in one day.
Pretty early on in the episode, Amy Halterman gets emotional while talking to her sister Misty. Misty asks what is wrong and Amy explains she is worn out and mentally exhausted. Not seeing Gage’s crib where it belonged in her home was what set her emotions off. Though, fans suspect if Amy was pregnant during this scene pregnancy hormones were also a factor. Misty reassured her sister that Gage’s crib was just at its new location in her new house. Misty doubled down by pointing out this was a step forward, not a step backward.
Amy Halterman knew this was everything she wanted. But, it was still an emotional rollercoaster. On Reddit, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans admit they could have lived without the scene completely.
What was lurking under Gage Halterman’s crib?
1000-Lb. Sisters fans with eagle eyes called attention to the rodent droppings on the floor where Gage’s crib was. Some fans speculated they could have also been looking at dead roaches or roach droppings as well.
Either way, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans admitted they were horrified, disgusted, and repulsed by what was lurking underneath Gage’s crib. This scene also caused fans to wonder what critters might be crawling on Gage while he is sleeping. How sanitary is his bed?
1000-Lb. Sisters: Is Amy Halterman ready for another baby?
1000-Lb. Sisters fans admit what was truly horrifying about this scene was the knowledge that Amy and Michael are going to have another baby. Fans point out that Gage is already living in unsanitary conditions. Fans worry these conditions will become even worse when another baby is added to the mix. Are Amy and Michael prepared for the struggles that come with having two small children? Fans don’t think so.
Some fans speculated TLC purposely filmed this scene and zoomed in on the empty space just to call attention to the filth. Overall, however, fans only hope Amy and Michael will take better care of their new home than they did of this one.

I couldn’t believe the mattress that a Michael and his friend moved into the new house. It was filthy and they drug it through the dirt. I thought it might have had a cover that could be removed. But they put it on the bed frame! So I guess it was really what they are sleeping on !
I thought the exact same thing!
I was even more shocked that drug their mattress through the mud while moving and put it on the bed just like that on my new house! I’ve been subscribed to Tammy and Amy since they were still living at home with their mom and stepdad. They have always lived in filth and I honestly don’t see that ever changing because they were raised that way. And as much as I love Amy and am so happy for all she’s achieved let’s face it she’s LAZY!!
You know what i grew up in a spotless almost museum type home. But the only reason it was so spotless is because my parents made us 4 children clean and keep it that way. Every morning Monday threw Sunday we were woke up around 5am. My dad had a hot breakfast ready. We ate, my sister and me then did the dishes cleaned the kitchen and dining area, then all 4 of us cleaned our room, made our beds, got our showers, and Monday threw Friday left for school, when we got home we did our homework Dad gave us a snack and we started our daily house cleaning chores. The sooner we were done the sooner we could go swimming or to a friend’s house or (and toys was most days) met up with a group of neighbors and played baseball, or kickball, maybe volleyball usually it just depended on what we could get or hands on that day. Then we were called in for dinner, after my sister and I world again so the dishes, clean the kitchen and dining room. Then of to play with the neighborhood kids again, until the street lights came on and it was time to go home.
On weekends we would clean for hours, we cleaned everything including spraying the walls with 409.
Yet when I moved out at 18 I sware it took everything in me to do the dishes everywhere day, laundry? Ya I did it, but almost never put it away. And weekends heck no I went to the lake, the park, the mall anything but clean. At one point it got so bad I decided it might be easier to just move and lose my deposits then try and clean that apartment.
And that lasted probably 2 or 3 years. So saying it’s because the grew up that way, isn’t nessasarly true. Most times it’s just lazyness or no time in your day. And as for Amy you all can disagree but we all know she is at Tammy’s beck and call, always having to drop everything get Tammy’s meds get Tammy’s cheat food make Tammy food, anything Tammy wants the minute she wants it IR ELSE THERE IS HELL TO PAY!!!
LET ME ASK YOU ALL THIS, EVER NOTICE TAMMY ISN’T YELLING ABOUT FOOD TOO ANY? WHY? WELL BECAUSE SHE IS EITHER ON HER WAY WITH CHEAT FOOD OR SHE’S GROCERY SHOPPING FROM TAMMYS LIST OR SHE JUST MADE HER FOOD? RIGHT!!!!!

I saw that too and I thought the same thing but honestly what more could one expect many of time my husband has said anyone can have a reality TV show and sadly I now have to say he is spot on the nastier and the more disgusting the life style the better the chance I feel sorry for Gage and while I’m commenting let me add Tammy just needs someone to slap the Holy hell out of her maybe they could slap a little bit of appreciation in her…….
I DO NOT think Gage is in the healthiest living environment at all. Icky, yucky and just gross in more ways than none. HOWEVER, based on what we are shown on the show, it appears that Gage is kept clean and seems like a happy little guy! NO conditions are not the best but that baby is loved by his mama and daddy as well as other family members who we have seen interacting with him.
They can’t even take care of themselves, what makes anyone think they can take care of a baby. Rednecks are disgusting.
I’m from the South and would be considered a REDNECK. My house along with all of my family’s homes are clean! Just because we have southern accents does not mean we’re dirty people! Not one person has the right to discriminate. That’s exactly what you do when you say something like that. Did ANY of you pay for part of her new home?? I think not… and you have no right to assume what goes on there. The last thing they showed was of Amy and her sister hanging up and folding Gages clothing. Everyone gets pissed off being called something that is totally hurtful. I’m a REDNECK and proud that I grew up in the country where I could identify with that. NOT people calling us bad things. Clean up your mouths.

Yes, I hate filth with a passion. However Gage is loved and adored. We can gently school Amy to put more of an effort into cleaning. I would ask that her fandom be more understanding of her circumstances. Let’s be her support and not traumatize her. She is strong and fragile and the same time. Let’s send her some positivity. We could be sending cleaning tips. I personally clean as the mess is being made. I do the big cleaning when the fam is down for the night. ETC…

Your comments would devastate Amy and Michael, The love they have for Gage is so beautiful to see, Gage is the happiest baby ive ever seen, and its all due to the love and care that Amy and Michael give him. I find your comment disgusting and very cruel. No way on this earth should baby Gage be taken away from his devoted parents.
I dont think Amy cares what she looks like, the house or what people think, She and her clothes are just as dirty as the house, She walks around with her dirty bra strap out and dirty feet showing, She should at least wash them off before going to bed. That mattress proves they hardly ever take baths or changed the sheets.

People tend to judge fast open your dirty laundry.
