Anna Duggar Resurfaces Online After Josh’s Guilty Verdict
Anna Duggar has been silent on social media for several months now. But now, she’s finally made a brief appearance. The social media silence first began after her husband, Josh Duggar, was arrested for possessing child pornography. This was back in April of 2021.
The Duggar daughter-in-law never issued a statement on her husband’s arrest. She stayed offline for months. On November 16, just two weeks before Josh’s trial was set to begin, she announced the birth of her seventh child, Madyson Lily. The baby was born in October. Then, Anna resumed her social media silence.
Fans haven’t heard from Anna since November. She also hasn’t issued a statement on Josh’s guilty verdict, though many other members of the family have. Fans don’t know what’s going on with Anna or where she stands with her husband. She may be working through things privately for now.
However, Anna Duggar has now resurfaced and seems to be somewhat active on social media.

This week, Anna Duggar made a rare appearance on social media. Josh’s wife commented on a post from her sister, Priscilla. Priscilla is married to David Waller, and together, they have six children. Their newest baby, Deborah Joy, was born on January 19.
To announce the baby’s birth Priscilla and David shared a new photo of their daughter, as well as a quick description of her birth date, weight, and length. Interestingly, Anna is one of the people who commented on the post to congratulate the family. She simply wrote, “Congratulations!” She also included a pink heart emoji on the photo of her newest niece.
So, it looks like Anna has been on social media for a little while.
Just because Anna commented on this photo doesn’t mean she’s going to be active on her own Instagram page, however. The Duggar daughter-in-law has been silent on social media for months, and she’s likely trying to avoid the negative comments about Josh that are bound to roll in.
So, we don’t know when she will fully return to social media. It still seems likely that she wants to lay low, though.
