‘General Hospital’ Weekly Spoilers: Will Carly Find Comfort in Drew Cain?
General Hospital spoilers for January 3-7, 2021, reveal Carly Corinthos ready to go off the deep end at Jason Morgan and Robin Scorpio’s bridge that she has no claimed as her own. When Drew Cain also shows up, things get dicey.
General Hospital Spoilers: Will Drew Replace Jason?
Carly (Laura Wright) needs to be all in her feelings now that she learned Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fell in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in Nixon Falls and didn’t bother telling her. She doesn’t even have Jason (Steve Burton) to lean on, a man she admitted she always loved when Sonny was in Nixon Falls. Still, she tries to talk to his spirit anyway, but Drew (Cameron Mathison) comes along and disrupts it all.
While Carly doesn’t want Drew around or anyone for that matter, he insists she talk to him and use him as someone to vent to. After all, they both miss Jason, although for Drew that doesn’t make sense since he was never particularly close to the brother he never knew he had for most of his life. Is Drew going to now become the replacement Jason for Carly? She kind of dropped him like a hot potato when Carly learned the real Jason was alive a few years back, so Drew might just be a glutton for punishment.
Sonny Deals With His Feelings
It turns out Sonny Corithos also has to be in his feelings but that involves trying to figure out what his feelings for Nina mean. She was there for him as a friend and a designated driver on New Year’s Eve, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) decides he needs to have another talk with his father to help him work things out.
Later in the week, Carly and Sonny finally see one another again and attempt to hash things out. Something tells us this not going to go quite the way Carly and Sonny hope, but maybe it will lead to something new for the both of them.
Maxie’s Mother Takes Charge
Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby mess just keeps getting messier as leaving the baby with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was an ill-conceived plan from the start. Now that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is pretending to be Bailey Louise’s dad, he is becoming attached to her and even wants to introduce her to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
As Brook and Maxie discuss what to do about Chase’s attachment to the baby, Felicia Jones Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is back and ready to fix this all. She and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) know that there is something more going on with Maxie than meets the eye and the two old friends agree to team up and get to the bottom of it all.
