Austin & Joy-Anna Forsyth Skip Duggar Family’s Massive New Year’s Eve Party?
Were Austin and Joy-Anna Forsyth at Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s New Year’s Eve party? On her Instagram page, Jana Duggar shared a series of photos and videos from the festive evening, but not everyone was present.
Interestingly, Joy-Anna and Austin were not spotted at the family gathering, while many other members of the family were there. The party also included many friends of the family. Michelle and Jim Bob’s home was packed with many guests, from the looks of Jana’s video.
So, where were Joy-Anna, Austin, and their kids, Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1?
Austin & Joy-Anna Forsyth wish fans a Happy New Year from their home.
In a new Instagram post on New Year’s Eve, Joy-Anna shared a couple of new family photos. In the snaps, she’s standing beside her husband, while holding her daughter. Gideon is standing in front of his parents and is totally ready for the camera. The little guy is smiling and posing.
In her caption, Joy-Anna writes, “Welcome 2022 & Happy New Year!! Love, Austin, Joy, Gideon & Evelyn Forsyth.”
As we reported, Joy-Anna was active on her Instagram stories on Friday. She revealed that they were spending the day at home with the kids. She also shared that she would be taking a social media break for the month of January. So, fans can look forward to seeing her posts when she returns in February.
These photos seem to prove that Joy-Anna and Austin were indeed at their own home rather than the Duggar family’s house.
Joy-Anna doesn’t specifically state why she wasn’t at her parents’ home. It’s possible that it has to do with the family drama surrounding Josh’s conviction. However, she was spotted at their home on Christmas Day, which was after her brother’s conviction and after she made a bold statement about his crime.
So, it’s also possible that Joy-Anna and Austin wanted to have a relaxing night at home with their two young kids rather than going to a big event.
