It is almost 2022 and news is already out about an exciting new Netflix K-Drama series, Our Blues. About Netflix K-Drama Our Blues coming in 2022

There is much excitement for fans of the Netflix K-Drama genre, coming to the streamer in the New Year. Meanwhile, it has recently been announced that Season 1 of the series Our Blues is coming to the streamer in 2022.

The Netflix K-Drama series Our Blues is an upcoming internationally licensed South Korean Original romantic drama, written by Noh Hee Kyung and directed by Kim Kyu Tae. It is set to air on the same day as the series is broadcast on the South Korean cable network tvN.

Plot and cast of the new K-Drama romantic series

So far, there is only a brief synopsis available for the romantic Netflix K-Drama, Our Blues. Basically, life on the island of Jeju is the perfect escape for those fleeing from city life. However, it is also the perfect place for those who are unlucky in love to find their soul mates.
Those who have been watching the various K-Dramas released by Netflix over the last couple of years will see some familiar faces in Our Blues.

One face that will immediately stick out is that of Lee Byung Hun. He had a brief appearance in the Netflix K-Drama hit series, Squid Game as the Front Man. Meanwhile, his character was also known as Hwang In-Ho, the overseer of the games and detective Hwang Jun-Ho’s brother. He is also known for his roles in Mr. Sunshine and IRIS. In Our Blues, he plays the role of Lee Dong Seok.

Another familiar face is Shin Min Ah, who recently starred in the popular K-Drama series, Hometown Cha Cha Cha. She also starred in Chief of Staff and Oh My Venus. In the new series, she plays the role of Min Seon Ah.

Other lead cast members include Cha Seung Won (Korean Odyssey, You’re All Surrounded City Hall) as Choi Han Soo. Meanwhile, Lee Jung Eun (Law School, A Piece of Your Mind, When the Camellia Blooms) plays Jung Eun Hee. The role of Park Jung Joon is played by Kim Woo Bin (School 2013, The Heirs, Uncontrollably Fond).

Actor Uhm Jung Hwa (Witch’s Romance, Montage, Dancing Queen) is in the role of Go Mi Ran. Also, the role of Lee Young Ok is played by Han Ji Min (One Spring Night, Familiar Wife, Rooftop Prince).

What is the release date of  Season 1 of Our Blues?

Currently, little is known about the release date of the new series Our Blues, other than that it will debut at some time in 2022. However, What’s on Netflix reports that weekly K-Dramas are seasonal. This means we can probably expect Our Blues to premiere on Netflix somewhere between January and April 2022. What has been confirmed is that the series will have a total of 20 episodes, each with a run time of 40 minutes.
