Survivor 41 SPOILER ALERT AHEAD:
Erika Casupanan was recently crowned the victor of the 41st Season of Survivor. The day after the finale of the season aired, the popular app Cameo uploaded a very interesting Survivor themed video.
Cameo is an app that lets users purchase custom videos from their favorite celebrities. The celebrities set their fee and anyone can purchase a short video from them, and ask for requests as to what the video should be about. In other words, you can get Snoop Dogg to wish your mom a Merry Christmas, or Raven Symone to wish your best friend a happy birthday. There’s no shortage of reality stars on the app, either. Cameo has become a great way for cast members from shows like Survivor, Big Brother and RuPaul’s Drag Race to capitalize on their newfound attention.
Erika: Bare For All To See
The day after the finale for Survivor Season 41 aired, Cameo uploaded a promotional video featuring all of the Season 41 cast members currently on Cameo telling interesting behind-the-scenes stories. These included season fan-favorites like J.D. and Shan talking about what we didn’t get to see throughout the season. J.D. talked about falling through the shelter on one of his first nights on the island. Shan talked about being terribly sick the day Ricard plotted to have her voted off.
But it was the sole survivor of the season, Erika, whose story stole the show. She told a story about a moment before the game was actually in full swing. When production was getting the opening shots for the show of the entire cast on boats getting ready for the marooning. Erika said “Getting those boat shots actually takes a long time. And at one point, I needed to go to the bathroom…”
The end result of this was Erika doing her business off the side of the boat since it wasn’t time for the cast to head to the island yet. This would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for the fact that one of the other boats rounded the corner into view right as Erika was squatting over the side of her boat. “For a few people, their first impression of me in the game was my bare a**”.
Survivor In The Lewd
It’s not like Survivor is a show that’s been stranger to nudity in the past. The sole survivor of the very first season, Richard Hatch, was notorious for his nude exploits around the beach. Maybe there’s some sort of link between the tribe seeing your butt and winning the game? We may never know. But Erika’s hilarious story certainly lends a great deal of humor to the opening shots of Season 41’s first episode.
