‘Bachelorette’ Fan Favorite Rodney Mathews Shares Thoughts On ‘BIP’
Rodney Mathews showed up to meet Michelle Young as an apple and it was the cutest thing ever. Fans fell in love with him and many rooted for the two of them to end up together.
The twenty-nine-year-old made a lasting impression on fans as the couple stuck with apples. They went apple picking for the hometown date.
Things weren’t in the stars for Michelle and Rodney and he went home after hometowns. Now fans have an important question, is he thinking about Bachelor in Paradise?
What Did Rodney Mathews Say About Bachelor In Paradise?
Rodney Mathews has a lot of people in his corner. Becca Kufrin had him on the podcast and she asked if he thought about going to the beach.
While he admitted he wasn’t sure about it, he thought it was too soon after his breakup.
He said, “I really don’t know. That’s kind of a tough decision for me. I’m not too sure.” According to Screen Rant Becca also said she hoped he’d be joining her for the “Bachelor Live on Stage,” tour.
Becca Kufrin Kept Joking With Him
Becca said he had six months to decide, so never say never. Kufrin told Rodney Mathews she understands. After going onto Arie Luyendyk’s season and then being The Bachelorette, she didn’t want to go either.
She said it was the most fun she had filming for the franchise. Also, she now has a relationship with Thomas Jacobs. Her trip to BIP was a surprise as someone who already had her chance at love, but she embraced it and found it.
While six months doesn’t seem like that long, it is a lifetime in Bachelor land. Considering people fall in love and get engaged in just a couple of weeks on Paradise. So, by the time he gets to filming he might be ready to find love again.
He Was Part Of A Historic Final Four
Tayshia also commended Rodney on being part of history with the final four for Michelle’s season being men of color. It’s a historic milestone in the Bachelor franchise and a significant one.
He said it’s very special to him to be part of that history. The caliber of guys he was within the final was top-notch. He considered it an honor according to Bachelor nation’s TikTok. He said he’s still in communication with the men and makes sure to check in with them often.
