Trailer for Netflix documentary Voir
Netflix has released a trailer for the documentary series Voir, which is included below. Even so, it is difficult to tell which movies will get the spotlight. As the screens flash by, almost every famous film from the past seven decades makes an appearance. Besides the older classics, even modern classics like Mad Max: Fury Road and The Matrix play a role.
The project was first announced by Netflix last month and comes on the heels of Fincher’s Netflix film Mank. The movie stars Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried and won Oscars for Best Achievement in Cinematography and Best Achievement in Production Design.
After releasing on the streamer in December 2020, the movie also attracted an almost endless list of nominations. These included Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling and Best Achievement in Costume Design.
Many fans were hoping that Fincher was working on the third season of Mindhunter. However, it looks like they will have to wait, although the new season is likely to happen. This is due to the fact that Fincher extended his exclusive contract with Netflix for another four years.
In the meanwhile and as noted by Deadline, Voir debuts on Netflix on Monday, December 6, 2021, and runs for six episodes.
