Yellowstone Season 4 Trailer Introduces New Face: Meet Carter
While all our regular faces are back for Season 4 of Yellowstone, a new trailer reveals one of the new characters. The trailer, posted on Twitter, gives an in-depth introduction to one of these new cast members, Carter. Read on to find out more about this interesting new addition to the cast.
Finn Little joins Yellowstone in Season 4
As a brief introduction via IMDb, Finn Little, 15, is an Australian actor known for several films and TV shows in his home country. In 2018, he was cast in the psychological thriller Angel of Mine, along with fellow Aussies Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale), Luke Evans, and Noomi Rapace.
However, he truly broke into the US market by nabbing a lead role opposite Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie in the movie Those Who Wish Me Dead. Taylor Sheridan was so impressed by Little’s performance in that film that he wrote a role especially for him in the series Yellowstone.
The new trailer for Season 4, describes Carter as a young boy reminiscent of a young Rip. Meanwhile, Finn becomes a regular cast member in Season 4 after Beth decides the ranch is the best place to teach him a lesson on how to be a man.

In the trailer, ranch hand Walker (Ryan Bingham) asks Carter if he wants to be a cowboy. Carter’s response was, “Life kinda robbed me of my options.”
Little speaks with an American accent, but his true Aussie twang comes out in a clip from an interview. Finn says, “On my first day, I was taken to props, where I was given a selection of knives to choose for Carter.” He added, laughing, that everyone just said “Welcome to Yellowstone.”
Introduction to Carter’s character
When Carter arrives on the ranch, he is in a tight spot, but the cowboys take him under their wing. In his interview, Finn said he was glad some of the other cast members on the show are real cowboys. He added that they really know what they’re doing. This makes it easier for him to find his way around working on the ranch.
When asked about his first time in Yellowstone, Little said he has really enjoyed every moment of it. He added that it feels nice to be part of “something big.”
Debuting in 2018, Yellowstone has become the most popular show on cable TV. Due to its success, two spinoffs will be coming to the little screen. One is Yellowstone: 666, although few details are available. Country Music Alley reports the other is 1883, starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as James and Margaret Dutton, John Dutton’s great-grandparents. Sam Elliott also features in the show and there will be a guest appearance by Billy Bob Thornton. 1883 is set to debut on December 19.
Meanwhile, Season 4 of Yellowstone premieres on the Paramount Network and Paramount+ on November 7, 2021. A trailer for the new season is available above.
