New ‘Bachelor’ Host Jesse Palmer Sits Down With Clayton Echard

If anyone hasn’t heard the huge news, Jesse Palmer has been named as the replacement for Chris Harrison on The Bachelor. The past two seasons of The Bachelorette have featured Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe as stand-in hosts. Now, the franchise has decided to cast someone more permanent for the job. Palmer is familiar with the franchise as he was a past Bachelor for Season 5. He currently also is a sportscaster. Now, pictures have surfaced of Jesse getting to sit down with ABC’s newest lead, Clayton Echard.

Jesse Palmer sits down with new Bachelor Clayton Echard

ABC has yet to officially confirm that Clayton Echard is the new lead for The Bachelor. However, he’s been seen filming and has pretty much confirmed the news himself. Fans of the show have not met the new lead yet. He will be featured on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette which premieres October 19 on ABC.

Producers reportedly fell in love with Clayton while filming. They felt he would be perfect for the role. So, this season there will be a lot of new faces. A new lead and a new host. Palmer has said he is excited to be back in Bachelor Nation.

Filming for The Bachelor began last Wednesday evening per Reality Steve. The cast and crew returned to the mansion in Agoura Hills, California made famous by the show following the pandemic.

Daily Mail confirmed Jesse Palmer was seen having a sit down with Clayton Echard in Los Angeles on Friday.

Palmer wore a dark blue plaid shirt with blue trousers, while Clayton matched him in a blue sweater and jeans.

After meeting the women who will be hoping to fall in love with Clayton, Jesse Palmer sat down with him to get his thoughts. The two spoke in a park for about an hour.

The first group date of the season was also set to be filmed Friday, October 1. Per Steve, the date would involve a birthday party and kids.

Clayton Echard is nervous but excited

The new Bachelor is excited about his opportunity to fall in love. The Eureka, Missouri native expressed he’s nervous but excited for the opportunity being given to him.

His hometown was behind him as crews were in his city to film parts of his intro video.

Jesse Palmer is also still continuing to film as a sportscaster while balancing his Bachelor hosting duties.
