Pretty Smart coming to Netflix
Pretty Smart is an upcoming Netflix Original comedy series, created by Jack Dolgen and Doug Mand. The comedy is directed by Pamela Fryman and Jody Margolin Hahn, while production is handled by the streaming channel’s own studio.
Emily Osment (Spy Kids and Hannah Montana) stars as Chelsea, a Harvard-educated intellectual and aspiring novelist. After unexpectedly being dumped by her boyfriend, she is forced to move in with her carefree, bubbly, not-so-intellectual sister, Claire (Olivia Macklin). However, that’s not all, as she has to share a home with her sister’s lovably eccentric, not-so-intellectual roommates.

About the cast
Fans of the Disney shows Spy Kids and Hannah Montana will remember Emily well. However, since those days, she has had a number of excellent roles. Osment had her own ABC Family show, Young & Hungry, running for five seasons between 2014 and 2018. More recently, Netflix fans will remember Emily for her role as Theresa on The Kominsky Method.

Michael Hsu Rosen plays social media influencer Jayden and is known for Looking, Taxi Brooklyn and The Empty Building. Meanwhile, Gregg Sulkin, who plays Grant, is known for Runaways, Faking It and Pretty Little Liars.
