‘Manifest’ Leaving Hulu, Peacock: How Long Do You Have To Stream It?
Manifest fans have been having an exciting time since Netflix picked up the show for a supersized and final Season 4. First, there was the shock cancellation by NBC following the cliffhanger Season 3 finale. Then, after fans made their voices heard, Netflix picked up Manifest for its fourth and final season, potentially bad news is in the air. It turns out Manifesters who are following the show on Hulu or Peacock will be out of luck.
Manifest picked up by Netflix for Season 4
After the exciting Season 3 finale of Manifest, fans were shocked to the core by the news that NBC was canceling the show. This led to a series of events that led to Netflix picking up the show. In fact, the streaming channel will be airing a supersized and final Season 4. After the announcement was made on August 28, 2021, fans were thrilled and excited.
It was also reported that Seasons 1-3 will come to Netflix outside the USA and Canada later this year. This is because Netflix US and Canada are already streaming those seasons of the show. This is all good news for fans worldwide. However, while most of the news is good, there is also some bad news. At least, that is, for anyone who is not a Netflix subscriber.
Hulu and Peacock to drop Manifest
Up until recently, Manifest has continued to stream on Hulu and Peacock, as a sort of catch-up service for the show. However, recent announcements are that the popular sci-fi/fantasy show is leaving those streaming services sooner than expected. In fact, Season 3 of Manifest will be dropped by both Hulu and Peacock later in September this year.
Basically, for those fans watching Season 3 on Peacock, you have until September 20 to watch. As noted by What’s On Netflix, Anyone with a Hulu account who wants to binge Manifest will only have until September 21, 2021. Twitter user @LetterkennyFD shared screen captures of both expiry notices, included below.
While this move isn’t totally surprising, it could be disappointing for any fans without a Netflix subscription. However, it does make sense that the streaming channel will be the exclusive home for all three seasons, plus the upcoming Season 4.
Other streaming services dropping the show
Meanwhile, other streaming services in other regions have also started showing removal dates, but admittedly, a bit later than Hulu and Peacock. For instance, NowTV and Sky in the United Kingdom will be removing Manifest on November 7, 2021. Hopefully, this will coincide with Season 1 to 3 landing on Netflix internationally for UK fans.
Readers who are currently watching Manifest on Hulu or Peacock, will this be a huge problem for you? Obviously, when the new and supersized Season 4 hits Netflix, fans everywhere will be longing to watch it. If this does affect you, let us know by dropping a comment below.
