‘Sister Wives’: Did Meri Brown Get Drunk & Go Live On Instagram?

Sister Wives star Meri Brown is currently visiting Anaheim, California, her first journey since the start of the pandemic. While there, the TLC reality star visited Disneyland for a bit of fun. However, her overly excited behavior in a recent “Fridays with Friends” video has fans scratching their heads. They are wondering if she was drunk while going live on social media.

Meri Brown, 50, regularly records her “Fridays with Friends” videos, but this time it hailed from Anaheim, California. She is currently out of town for her work but is also enjoying some fun time in the Golden State. However, Meri’s over-excitable behavior on the Instagram video has led fans to believe she might have had a few drinks.

In an Instagram video, Meri can be seen wearing a sleeveless, button-down green top and a huge smile. To start off, she greets everyone with, “Hi, you guys! Happy Friday!” In the meanwhile, she is walking around Anaheim, looking for somewhere to sit, while sounding overly bubbly. As she does every week, her BFF, Jenn Sullivan, then joins the live video.

Jenn and Meri can be seen chatting generally about their lives, while Brown briefly reminds viewers of the ground rules. These rules include not talking about Sister Wives or her family. All of this is relatively normal for Meri’s weekly videos, except for one thing. Brown seems much more talkative and animated than usual, leading fans to believe she may have enjoyed a few alcoholic beverages along her way.

Is Meri drunk?

On top of this, Meri can be seen to take regular sips from a stainless steel cup with a straw. Fans believe there is something a little stronger than fruit juice in that cup. One follower commented, writing, “Someone drunk?” while others took a similar vein. However, Meri didn’t exactly deny these accusations. She even played along, commenting, “I mean you only live once!”

Another follower commented that Meri may have enjoyed some alcoholic beverages. She responded, writing “it’s every Friday,” referring to Brown’s “Friday with Friends.” Meri caught the comment and replied pointedly, writing “I mean, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, every week… ”

During the final episode of the last season, Meri attended a family meeting at Coyote Pass. Fans will remember she was wearing a t-shirt that read, “May all your hours be happy hours.” When Kodi didn’t understand the meaning of her t-shirt, Meri poked fun at him. He responded, saying, “Oh, no, that sounds like a drinking game!”
