‘Sister Wives:’ Kody Brown Slammed For Not Using Land While Janelle Forced To Move
Sister Wives fans are mad at Kody Brown for still not breaking ground on his $820k land. Janelle Brown shared an image of the sprawling land on Instagram. Fans pointed out that she has to leave her rental home, as it is now up for sale. How could Kody allow this to happen, when he has all that lovely land?
Sister Wives star Kody Brown and the land
Kody Brown, 52, bought the sprawling property back in 2018, but since then, no action has been taken to develop the property. Now, three years later, fans are angry at Kody. They are commenting on Instagram to say the property buy was a “waste of money.”
The accusations flowed after his second wife, Janelle, 52, shared a video of the empty land on Instagram. The video pans across the property – located on Coyote Pass outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. After panning across the empty land, Janelle finished with a view of a beautiful mountain landscape. She captioned the image, “I never get tired of the view.”
Fans slam Kody for not building on the land
While the land is beautiful, with its pretty mountain landscape, fans were less than impressed with the view. One commented, “Still no house?” Another wrote, “None of them are there? What a waste of money.” An unimpressed fan pointed out that all the wives should want to live the life that is meant to be.
Yet another fan commented that the land is “very nice,” but that they don’t understand why they are not even building one house. They added, “That is the families [sic] lifestyle and the family should be under one roof!!!”
Another wrote that it is about time they need to come to a decision to build or sell. They closed, writing, “The reality show is becoming a dead-end road.”
Janelle Brown forced to move
Janelle video post comes after Kody’s second wife was forced to move from her $699,000 rental home. It turns out the ranch house she has been renting has once again been put on the market. The property has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and a kitchen with wood cabinets and an island. Janelle has been living in the house with three of her children, Garrison, 22, Gabe, 20, and Savanah, 16.
After much disagreement between Kody and his four wives, he has yet to start building on the hugely expensive plot of land. Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn are struggling to maintain their polygamist lifestyle in four separate homes. However, some wives are not willing to all share one singular home on the new land. Janelle has said the estranged family dynamic is worrying to her. Meanwhile, Robyn says they are acting like four separate families. For her part, Christine prefers her privacy.
Previously, Kody has blamed the building delays on the lack of money to build, as well as COVID-19 creating problems for the family. Meanwhile, Meri rents a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, while Kody bought a $520,000 home for Christine. As for his alleged “favorite” wife, Robyn, Kody bought her a five-bedroom, four-bathroom home for $890,000.
Readers, do you think Kody should finally get down to building on that expensive plot of land to bring the whole family together? Let us know in the comments below.
