Wells Adams Dishes On Rumor He Could Be The New ‘Bachelor’ Host
Bachelor alum and Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams is dishing on the rumors surrounding him replacing host Chris Harrison. He has appeared on several seasons to help Chris out with dates. And, fans absolutely love Wells. He’s adorable, funny and liked by all. So, if Chris were to step down from hosting duties, it makes sense Wells would be a perfect fit. But, is there any truth to the rumors?
Wells Adams dishes on rumor he could be new Bachelor host
People spoke to Wells to get the truth behind the rumors surrounding Chris Harrison. Just to refresh everyone’s memories, rumors are flying that since Chris is moving to Texas he could be leaving the franchise. Wells says there is zero truth to the rumors. Chris is reportedly moving to Texas because of a partnership with a local brewery.
Wells said, “It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” He went on to say, “First of all, Chris isn’t going anywhere. He’s got the best job in Hollywood. Tom Hanks would agree that he has the best job in Hollywood. He’s not going anywhere.”
Wells also said what many others have said and that is he can be The Bachelor host from anywhere. The cast and crew travel to film and he’s away from home anyway during that time. Wells said, “And I know that everyone’s like, well, he’s moving to Texas. Guess what, everybody? It’s a travel show. He can live in Timbuktu and still do the show.” He continued, “They only film a week and a half in Agoura Hills. The rest of the show is off everywhere else.”
Wells reiterated that Chris Harrison is not going anywhere. He said, “He’s not going anywhere nor do I want him to go anywhere.” He continued, “He’s the cornerstone of Bachelor Nation. And I don’t wish that upon anybody trying to fill those shoes.”
He’s looking forward to Bachelor in Paradise
Wells isn’t trying to take Chris’ job, but he is looking forward to serving up drinks again on Bachelor in Paradise. He’s looking forward to seeing one particular contestant in Paradise this year. That contestant is villain and “Queen” Victoria Larson from Matt James’ season of The Bachelor.
Wells said he thinks Victoria makes great television. He loves how outspoken she is. While he may be excited to serve her up some beverages, most fans are not digging her attitude on the show. Many feel she is a bully and needs to hit the road.
