‘Welcome to Plathville’: Ethan & Olivia Plath Both Contribute To Their Income
Welcome to Plathville fans see that Olivia and Ethan seem determined that they live independently of Barry and Kim Plath. In fact, they hated the idea of their parents moving into town, and virtually onto their doorstep. However, the fact that they both contribute to their income, means financial freedom from them, at least.
Welcome to Pathville – Olivia runs her own photography business
We reported back in May that Olivia sounded relieved that the coronavirus restrictions eased enough for her to take on work again. Like so many people who work for themselves, that quarantine really hurt her. She runs her own photography business which focuses on travel and weddings. So, as you can imagine, that impacted her income severely.
Wedding season came along, and the Welcome to Plathville star felt bad as many clients rescheduled their weddings. But, some businesses started rolling again. And, she excitedly told her fans that soon, she planned a trip to “San Antonio and Houston.” So, things started looking up for her again. But Ethan also works, so hopefully, he helped cover any lost income during her downtime.
What does Ethan Plath do for an income?
Ethan’s really good with his hands. In fact, during quarantine, he added a new outdoor deck to their home. But he’s not a builder by trade. In fact, he brings in the moolah as a mechanic. And, most mechanical-related jobs stayed open during the coronavirus. Distractify reminds readers that in the last season of the show, he talked about his love for cars.
The Welcome to Plathville star literally loves restoring old cars. And his profile on Instagram reads, “Lover of classic cars, a long list of projects.” And in July, he shared a really nice photo of his 37 Plymouth. Over on All Collector Cars, a nicely restored Plymouth from 1937 might fetch as much as $58k. And in January, he shared a post about a 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline that he works on restoring.
The current season of Welcome to Plathville on TLC
In the premiere episode of the current season of the TLC show, fans see a lot of hostility between Barry and Kim Plath and Ethan and Olivia. Those fans who watched for the first time, can’t get over how restrictive the parents are with their kids. But, oldtimers know that Kim put Olivia through sheer hell in the last season. And, all because she lives a more normal life than the Plath kids with technology and the occasional sweet treat.
Welcome to Plathville fans just seem relieved that not only Ethan escaped from his parents’ lifestyle, but his younger brother and sister, Moriah and Micah also got way. And, like Ethan and Olivia, they also now earn independent incomes.
