’90 Day Fiance’ Drama As Biniyam Meets Ariela’s Dad For The First Time, But Then Goes To Work
In Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Biniyam gets to meet Ariela’s father for the first time. He is understandably nervous and Ariela asks him to call her father Dr. Weinberg. However, when he meets her parents at the airport, it is agreed that he should call him “dad.” Everything about the meeting goes well, except that Biniyam has to go to work that very evening.

Biniyam has already met Ariela’s mom, Janice, but in this episode, he gets to meet her father for the first time. He is understandably nervous about the first meeting with Dr. Weinberg. Ariela and Biniyam will be staying in a room at her parents’ hotel during their visit. It is decided that she will stay in the hotel’s lobby with baby Aviel, while Biniyam does the honors of collecting her parents. It turns out it is an honor indeed, as Dr. Weinberg never normally travels overseas.
This is Dr. Weinberg’s first visit to Ethiopia, but he is obviously charmed when Biniyam meets them, handing them some roses. This part of their visit does go well and the whole family gets together at the hotel.

However, Ariela and Biniyam are not in a good place right now, with constant arguments over religion and the baby’s baptism. Also, Ariela has become jealous of Biniyam, believing he is seeing and speaking to other women. In fact, during the episode, she demands her boyfriend’s phone, wanting to check his messages. She even threatens to phone the numbers in his contact list to find out who they are.
However, with her parents coming to visit, Ariela has to keep these feelings aside. When they arrive at the hotel, she is thrilled to see her mom and dad and introduce them to baby Aviel. For her part, Janice is happy to hold the little tot and has brought gifts for him and the family.

Despite this, there is a problem lurking behind their visit. Shortly before her parents’ arrival, Biniyam tells Ariela that he has to work that night. When she asks him to cancel it, he refuses, saying he needs the work. It turns out he will be singing that night.
Biniyam has a number of jobs which he needs to do in order to support his new family. While obviously, they need money, Ariela is getting upset at being alone so much with baby Aviel. The fact that Biniyam leaves her alone on the first night of her parents’ visit doesn’t sit well at all.
