Should ’90 Day Fiance’ Stars Deavan And Jihoon Be Dropped From Season 2?

As 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans know, in real life, Deavan and Jihoon have split. In fact, the American TLC reality star has already moved on with another man, Topher Park. This means that during the Sunday, October 25 episode, fans were bored with Deavan and Jihoon’s segments. In the show, the pair is getting ready to marry and looking at venues, which seems such a waste of time to watch.

90 Day Fiance fans bored by Deavan and Jihoon

Deavan Clegg is currently posting images and videos of her new boyfriend, Topher Park. The American South Korean appears to have taken over the role of Taeyang’s dad. In a recent Instagram post, Deavan even went so far as to hint that she wants to marry her new beau. However, as far as we know, she is still married to Jihoon Lee.

In Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, fans had to watch as Deavan, Jihoon and his family went to view a wedding venue. They find out they can hire the venue for one hour only. In typical form, Clegg says how disappointing this is, as she has dreamed of a big wedding. She wants the dancing, the food and the cake, but that’s not how it is done in South Korea. At the end of the show, Deavan accuses Jihoon of looking at women’s bodies and cheating on her. Knowing the truth of the relationship, most viewers likely wanted to fast-forward the segments with Deavan and Jihoon.

Fans have experienced all the drama and ugly attacks on social media. Accusations have been made against Jihoon for abusing Deavan’s daughter, Drascilla. Fans know the couple is no longer together and that their relationship has failed. Do they really have to sit through the big wedding and all it entails? Admittedly, some fans might be following the episodes closely to see the cracks in Deavan and Jihoon’s relationship. However, most have probably had quite enough of the unlucky pair.

Anyone who wants to know more about Deavan and Topher can watch a recent tell-all where fans asked them various questions. In it, Deavan does confirm that Topher will not be on 90 Day Fiance.

Filming wrapped for Season 2 just as COVID-19 hit in South Korea, likely early in Deavan and Jihoon’s split. This means it is unlikely fans will get to see the actual drama of their failed relationship. Meanwhile, it isn’t even clear if TLC was in Seoul when Deavan flew home. However, she did apparently reach out to the reality TV network before she left.

So far, it has been confirmed that Deavan and Jihoon will not appear in the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell-All. Let’s face it, the whole world knows what is happening in their lives. Because of this, Cinema Blend theorizes TLC will probably have reservations about continuing with the failed couple on future episodes. Fans will remember how the reality network backed away from working with Karine and Paul Staehle after their relationship turned explosive. It is probably a good idea for them to do the same with Deavan and Jihoon. Let’s face it, fans, the pair is now totally boring and not worth watching.
