Netflix: ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’ Part 4 Gets Debut Date And Teaser Trailer
Fans were understandably upset when they heard that Netflix was canceling The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. However, the good news is that a premiere date has been released for Part 4 of the spooky show, along with a new teaser trailer.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4
In July this year, Netflix announced that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina would be coming to a close with Part 4. Even worse, the coronavirus epidemic delayed the final part by some months. In fact, at the time Ross Lynch had said there may have been 10 more episodes. However, blaming the pandemic, he said Netflix had to make a quick call. It was decided that canceling the show was better than renewing and reversing the cancellation. However, it looks like Part 4 might make up for the cancellation, as it looks exciting indeed.
Viewers will remember how Part 3 ended with Sabrina cloning herself, thanks to a magical time paradox. In other words, there is the Sabrina who is living as a normal teenager. Meanwhile, her clone, the other, power-hungry Sabrina is ruling in Hell.
Fans of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina can start getting excited as Part 4 will be coming soon. In the brief teaser trailer, we see Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood) apparently at Baxter High. He announces that “another war is brewing.” Meanwhile, Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) is very much “back in action.”
Netflix teases about Part 4, “Over the course of Part 4’s eight episodes, The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale.” Their statement said the “coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one.” The streaming channel mentioned The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, to name a few. All of this will lead up to The Void, which is the End of All Things. Meanwhile, as the witches wage their war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick is slowly making his way back into Sabrina’s heart. However, will this be too late?
Showrunner speaks about the show
In a July interview with ET, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said what an “incredible honor” it has been to work on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina from day one. He said the cast, “beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy.” Roberto went on to say he is “beyond thankful” to the crew, editors, writers, assistants and everyone for “pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show.”
Aguirre-Sacasa also expressed his gratitude to their partners, Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics. This is for letting them tell the story they wanted to tell, in the way they wanted to. He closed by saying they can’t wait for everyone to see Part 4. Catch the teaser trailer below.
Fans don’t have too long to wait now, as Part 4 of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will start streaming on Netflix on December 31. What better way to celebrate the end of 2020?
