TLC Digital Spinoffs Coming For ‘The Family Chantel’s’ Karen & ’90 Day Fiance’s’ David & Annie
It seems the 90 Day Fiance franchise is growing once again. On Tuesday, TLC announced a new Facebook Watch series with David and Annie of 90 Day Fiance: What Now? But that’s not all, as Karen from The Family Chantel – i.e. Chantel’s mom – is getting to host her own show. This will be on the video-on-demand service.
New 90 Day Fiance spinoffs
Speaking of the new spinoffs, TLC president and general manager, Howard Lee said that David, Annie and Chantel’s mom Karen are “three larger-than-life personalities. He said 90 Day Fiance fans have fallen in love with them over several seasons and spinoffs of the franchise.
Lee added, “While we continue to lead with women audiences in cable, partnering with Facebook Watch lets us go deeper with current 90 Day Fiance devotees.” This will also expand their reach to all-new digital audiences.
The two new digital series will be the first-ever productions by TLC in partnership with Facebook Watch.

Spice It Up with David & Annie and Ask Mama Chantel
David and Annie currently star on TLC’s Pillow Talk. They are set to give fans an inside look into how they create their own favorite, Thai-inspired meals. Along the way, the pair will keep the audience smiling with their signature, comedic banter. Seeing them create those delicious dishes will certainly get the appetite going!
Meanwhile, Karen, Chantel’s mother and the matriarch of The Family Chantel, will answer fans’ questions about family drama, love and more. By doing so, she will share her well-known, trademark wisdom with viewers. As noted by People, fans should start getting their questions ready for this warm and lovely lady.

New TLC spinoffs
Fans will remember a few months ago when 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined aired. That series was created earlier in 2020 in an effort to follow cast members during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Each cast member self-videoed in their own homes, telling fans how they were managing in a lockdown situation. It was obvious times were difficult for the stars, while there was also much humor along the way.
The new spinoffs, Spice It Up with David & Annie and Ask Mama Chantel, join 10 other spinoffs in the popular TLC reality franchise. These include 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? and Darcey & Stacey. The latter is the latest spinoff and stars twins Darcey and Stacey Silva and the respective loves and drama in their lives. In the show, Darcey is with her new Bulgarian love, Georgi, while Stacey is having problems with her fiance Florian.
Fans should be ready to Ask Mama Chantel when the spinoff debuts on Thursday, October 22. Meanwhile, Spice It Up with David & Annie is set to make your taste buds drool on Wednesday, October 28.
