‘Big Brother’ 22 All-Stars: Cody Calafiore Suffers Horrible Loss, Will He Leave The Show?
Houseguest life just got more complicated for Big Brother All Star Cody Calafiore. Sunday night he was dealt a blow he wasn’t prepared for. Now, Cody must make a decision to leave the Big Brother house or stay and try to win it all.
Cody received bad news from home
Big Brother delivered a big blow to Cody Sunday night. He found out he lost his grandfather. His brother and fellow BB alum, Paulie Calafiore shared the news on social media. Obviously the houseguests are not allowed to have their phones or even any access to what is going on in the real world.
The Big Brother crew called Cody into the diary room to share the heartbreaking news. He has always been close to his family so this was no doubt a big blow. Following the news, Cody took a few minutes to be alone in the bathroom. The other houseguests were worried and Tyler went in to find out if he was okay. Cody shared the news and told Tyler to let the other houseguests what was going on.
The other guests were very sympathetic to Cody and offered their condolences. Cody said he knew his grandfather was in bad shape, but hoped he would make it through the summer.

What his brother shared with the world
Paulie shared the news on Instagram. He shared a photo and said, “A legend has fallen. I never thought I’d be writing these words about you after seeing you fight through all that you have but now I definitely know where I get my no quit fight mentality from.”
Paulie continued on saying his grandfather was told 14 months ago he only had a month to live. He proved them all wrong. He continued on telling his grandfather how loved he was. Paulie also said, “Please send us your strength during this time. Your three sons need it right now, your daughter who is battling stage 4 cancer needs it right now, your grandchildren need it right now. Please watch over Cody in that house and give him the strength to finish after hearing the news. I’m training for something very special right now that I know is going to make you proud.”

What will Cody do now?
Of course after hearing the news Cody could self evict if he wanted to be with his family. However, most think he will stay. Cody has a real shot at winning it all. As of Wednesday afternoon Cody was still in the house. He was seen on the live feeds. He was called into the diary room, but of course no word on what they wanted to discuss.
