’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Loren Brovarnik Opens Up About Postpartum Weight Loss Struggle
On Tuesday, July 28, 90 Day Fiancé alum Loren Brovarnik, 32, opened up about her biggest postpartum struggle after giving birth to Shai. In her Instagram Story, Loren wrote that losing her pregnancy weight was a really big thing for her and the biggest postpartum struggle. From images posted by Loren, she is certainly winning the struggle!
90 Day Fiancé alum Loren opens up about ‘body dysmorphia’
In her Instagram Story, Loren writes that she has suffered from body dysmorphia for as long as she can remember. She says it is hard because what she sees compared with what everyone else sees is different. Loren also mentioned having people criticizing and judging you doesn’t make it any easier. However, as she says, she did choose to put herself “out there.” Brovarnik continues by saying this is her and her journey.
Loren admits that the hardest part of the weight loss was starting, but she says she wears sneakers every day for motivation. In her latest post, she revealed an image of herself wearing a sports bra, and captioned, “This is me. Unfiltered.” Seeing the image shows just how hard Loren has worked on getting rid of that extra baby weight – she looks great!

About Loren and postpartum depression
It was on April 14, 2020, that Loren and Alexei Brovarnik welcomed their baby boy, Shai. In an interview at that time with Us Weekly, Loren says everything happens or doesn’t happen for a reason. She says they were meant to meet their baby boy earlier than his due date and with all that is going on right now with the virus, this was the smile and light they needed. Loren adds they are so in love with baby Shai and even more in love with each other.
A month after giving birth to Shai, Loren says her postpartum depression has left her with a “roller-coaster of emotions.” In a post on Instagram in May, she says she has felt “excited, exhausted, scared, in pain and every other emotion you can think of.” Along the way, Brovarnik struggles with “judgment and people sharing unsolicited advice.” So much so, she has been what she calls a “nervous nelly.”

In Loren’s latest Instagram post, she has revealed just how much weight she has lost. Posing in a black bikini with some stylish sunglasses, she captioned the image “Challenge accepted. Thank you @surferwife for nominating me.”

Loren wrote that the image was to support other women and help elevate their self-esteem. Many fans commented positively on the image and her support of women. It seems the new mom is rapidly turning into a 90 Day Fiancé fan favorite! It is wonderful to keep up with the story of Loren and Alexei’s happy marriage and beautiful family.
