Honey Boo Boo Announces New Project, The Beauty By Boo Boo Box
Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) looks a bit happier now that Mama June: Family Crisis ended on WEtv. Her mom went off to rehab and Alana told Sugar Bear she intends to stay with her sister Pumpkin. Now, she announced her latest plans on Instagram. She intends to bring out a new line of beauty products, so fans can now be just like her.

In Mama June: Family crisis, fans saw Alana look very distressed. One time she cheered up came when Pumpkin let her dress up her little niece Ella Grace. She entered her in a beauty pageant. Recall, as a young child, Honey Boo Boo featured in many pageants herself. So, her interest in beauty and beauty products isn’t surprising. This Friday, Alana took to her Instagram with her exciting news about her own line of beauty products.
She shared a happy-looking video of herself and she told fans she kept “a secret for a while now.” Finally, she revealed she can talk about it. Probably with the season of the show ended, she’s able to reveal some happy news for a change. In the caption, she wrote, “I am SO excited about my NEW #BeautyByBooBoo box coming out soon!!! Click the link in my bio & subscribe now so you are the first to know when I launch it.” Honey Boo Boo’s aunt Doe Doe responded by saying she feels “excited” about it.

The link from Alana’s Instagram reveals more about her plans. On the Beauty By Boo Boo website, she explained that she works with brands and selects her favorite things. They get put into one collection which then go out in a box. She noted, “when you look at yourself in the mirror you can say ‘Yesssssssss Boo Boo’ just like I do.” Not yet officially launched, a place exists where followers may sign up so they know when products launch. For now, it looks like there’s just one box, but it’s possible this could turn into a subscription-based beauty box.
Meanwhile, back on her Instagram, fans sound enthusiastic. Bear in mind, her many followers include young teens about her own age. One fan said, “Super Happy for you. I am probably not the target demographic for this Box despite my desperate need for beauty. Anywhoo… This is Big News, Congrats💖👌🙏🙏🙏.” Another Honey Boo Boo follower noted, “Whaaaat!! SO excited!! I can’t wait!” Younger fans seem very much into the idea of the new beauty box.
Of course, there’s always someone who tries bringing a downer to the party. One critic complained her manager Gina works Honey Boo Boo to the point where she can’t be a child and just enjoy playing.
