‘Labor of Love:’ Kristin Davis Helps Bachelor Alum With Her Path To Motherhood

Many reality shows help people to meet, fall in love and marry their better half. Fox’s new reality series is different. Chaired by Kristen Davis, Labor of Love intends to help women in a different way. In fact, it aims to let them have the child they have always wanted.

The show features Kristin Davis helping former Bachelor contestant, Kristy Katzmann with her aims of having her desired baby.

In the promo clip, Kristy Katzmann says she never imagined she would be 41 and still single. The contestant is described in the press release as being a 41-year-old, successful, beautiful and smart career woman. She appears to have it all, but she doesn’t.

In fact, there is one thing she wants the most that she doesn’t currently have. Like many women in the US, Kristy is ready to have a child and start a family. The only problem is the fact she has yet to meet a potential father for her children. At 41, her biological clock is ticking – can she have a baby before it is too late?

The press release continues by saying Katzmann will be matched up with a choice of 15, sophisticated, sexy and like-minded men. Like Kristy wanting to be a mom, these guys are ready to become a father, with all it entails.

As these men compete over eight weeks to win Kristy’s heart, they will face a number of challenges. These are to prove their potential partnership and parenting skills. Each week, some of the fathers-to-be will be eliminated from the race.

Kristin will help Kristy over the coming weeks with her decision as to which of these men she feels she would like to settle down with and start a family. Alternatively, she might decide to continue on her path to motherhood alone.

Kristin Davis on Labor of Love

As noted by People, Kristin, 55, said in a statement that when she first heard the basic premise of the show, she knew she had to be part of it. She believes every woman deserves to be empowered to go after their dreams. This is whether those dreams are professional, or personal. Davis said to be at Kristy’s side during the eight-week show is “truly exciting.”

Bachelor fans may remember Katzman from when she appeared on Season 11 of the reality show in 2007. The bachelor in that season was Brad Womack. While Katzmann didn’t end up with the handsome Brad, she now runs The Modern Mamanista, a beauty and fashion blog, with her sister, Sarah Gross.
