‘Teen Mom 2’ Jenelle And David Had A Happy Easter
Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans and David Eason celebrated their first holiday since recently getting back together. And it sounds like things went great!
Jenelle and David’s Happy Easter
According to People, Jenelle shared a handful of photos to Instagram from her family’s Easter celebration on Sunday. The photos included David, their children and Jenelle’s mom Barbara all spending time together.
This past year has been an extremely rocky one for their family, but Jenelle proudly posted that this Easter was drama-free.
She wrote, “I cannot begin to say how happy I am that everyone got along today! If you’ve been following my story since I was 16, you would think this day would never come! Home-cooked meal by my mom, David having normal conversations with my mom, dyed some eggs with the kiddos, and hunted for more eggs. Today couldn’t have went any better. Here’s to new beginnings! 🐰💓 Again #HappyEaster.”

The Teen Mom couple’s history
Jenelle and David have a 3-year-old daughter Ensley together. She is also mom to two sons, 10-year-old Jace from her ex Andrew Lewis and 5-year-old Kaiser from ex Nathan Griffith. David also has a child from a previous relationship, his older daughter Maryssa.
Last year was a crazy year of ups and downs for the couple. Back in April 2019, it came out that David shot and killed their family dog, Nugget, for biting Ensley in the face. Following this horrible scandal, the pair temporarily lost custody of their children in May. Jenelle regained custody a few months later, but this scandal led to her getting fired from Teen Mom 2. MTV had already fired David in 2018 over an alleged homophobic rant on Twitter.
Then in October 2019, Jenelle announced she was leaving David. She then moved out in November. But just last month Jenelle reached out to David in an attempt to reconcile.
She told People, “I contacted David first and I told him, I said, ‘I’m sorry,’ and he contacted me back and he said, ‘For what?’ and I said, ‘I think we just ended things abruptly and I think we need to try to work things out for our family and our marriage. And he said, ‘okay.’”
Jenelle continued saying, “I told him, I said, ‘Things have got to change. We cannot be so unhappy. We have to start communicating with each other about our problems and we have to sort it out and we can’t let the same thing keep happening or the same topic for an argument keep occurring.’”
